OVER ALL, who's the most UNDERRATED guy?

Count the following:

intelligence (off court)
most potential to improve game & emotional maturity
beauty - charisma & hot model looks
respectful of opponents on court & in interviews
sincerity (no hypocrisy)
very generous
most humble fans

Not for any criteria you listed above..

1a) Jarkko Nieminen--2005 best year and I don't think he's going away.

1b) Novak Djokovic--his name doesn't come up when discussing the "new comers," namely, Nadal, Gasquet, Monfils, Berdych and Murray; very impressive run at 2005 USO (4 sets over Monfils; 4 sets over Ancic; def in 5 sets by Verdasco, who I think is still rather overrated at this point.)

Must he be a human being too?

The "most underrated" guy would have any of these qualities-not obviously, anyway. Those that you listed above would place this "underrated" guy into the "next great hope" category.

Overlooked may be a better word for it. Lately, he's not underrated in terms of his tennis at all. Unfortunately, but I like to think he meets the other criteria.

I thought the question was who is underrated based on the criteria given... tennis wasn't one of the criteria listed, except "most potential to improve game"...

David Ferrer, he is :hearts: and in all of his interviews he is very down to earth, he does tons of exhibitions and kid clinics...he even teaches at one of his hometown clubs when he's free.

re the humble fans bit - a player has no control over his fans anyway. I tend to agree with most and say he doesn't exist anyway.
