Vince Spadea is the David Hasselhoff of tennis

missbungle

1. Both are extremely talented in the chosen careers (Spadea - tennis - will be no. 1 next year BTW; Hasselhoff - acting).

2. Both are unusually gifted musicians.

3. They are both massive hits with the ladies.

4. They have both achieved a degree of credibility and coolness that no one else can ever emulate.

What do you think?

I think you have A LOT in common with your avatar right at this moment ;)

Is Vince also popular in Germany?

I tend to agree. Supposedly, Spadea has a cult following in Bangladesh, much akin to Davide Hasselhoff in Germany.

The real question is which one of these renaissance men can come close to eclipsing Chuck Norris and his stranglehold on the world's popularity contest.

Indeed, that really is the real question. That will be an even bigger struggle for Vinny Ice than challenging the top 10 next season.

Vince Spadea is the David Hasselhoff of tennis....yeah, and I'll win Miss America next year.
Thanks for the laugh, though.

Oh, my stomache hurts.

My only problem is with number 4. Clearly Chuck Norris and Horatio Caine lead the way in this regard! I see that Jole beat me to the Chuck Norris reference. Boo.

Otherwise, well done :worship:

Vincent wasn't personally responsible for the downfall of communism like Hoff was, but otherwise a solid comparison.

Neither of them will eclipse My Boy Chuckie. He is a man for all seasons; the man of the moment, the year, dare I say, the century. I love him. My evening is not complete until I've seen yet another repeat of "Walker, Texas Ranger." The acting . . . well, what can I say?

You French people just don't appreciate REAL talent. Sad, but true. Though, I do also love Gerald Depardieu (when he's sober).
