Poor Mathieu gets only one day's rest after the semifinal in Moscow.
He shouldn't play on Monday!

Just a second... Mathieu and Ljubicic don't play in the 1st round!
It's Mathieu vs Schuettler (and that's definitely not on Monday) and Ljubicic vs Nicolas Lapenti. I guess Ivan got it wrong...

This is what Ivan said:
Shoulder is ok. Not great but ok. I play tommorow not before 8.30 pm. I love this court. Was nice feeling today when I came back on that court. I hope it will stay like that.....
About the draw and his opponent:
German Schuettler will arrive to Lyon after the finals in Shanghai (correction: Tokyo), and his first opponent, French Paul-Henri Mathieu, last years winner of Lyon is still playing in Moscow. Winner of this match will play winner of Ivan vs. Nicolas Lapentti from Ecuador, the winner of 1999. Lyon.
- I played three times against Lapentti. I've won last match in Cincinnati this year – says Ivan. Lapentti was twice winner on the clay, in Estoril three and Gstaad four years ago.

So Nadal plays tomorrow - I hope his damn injury has healed fully, and that staying off tour the last three weeks was just a precaution! I like his chances against Hrbaty.
