Better that type of awkwardness than the awkwardness of being one of the other celebrity baby names.

edited to highlight the weirdest of the bunch

1. Moon Unit (Frank and Gail Zappa)
2. Fifi Trixibelle (Paula Yates and Bob Geldof)
4. Apple (Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin)
5. Daisy Boo (Julia and Jamie Oliver)
7. Peaches (Paula Yates and Bob Geldof)
10. Nell Marmalade (Helen Baxendale and David Eliot)
12. Tiger Lily Heavenly Hirani (Paula Yates and Michael Hutchence)
13. Dweezil (Frank/Gail Zappa)
16. Zowie (Angie and David Bowie)
17. Mateo Bravery Bratt (Benjamin Bratt)
18. Moxy CrimeFighter (Emily and Penn Jillette-- and yes, the capital F on fighter is part of the coolness)

So, an unknowing fan comes up to a girl he recognizes as a daughter of a famous self-absorbed tennis player. He asks, "You a McEnroe?" She replies, "No, Me a Hewitt." :D

Mia is also the name of Kate Winslet's daughter from her 1st marriage to Jim (last name is eluding me at the moment).

 Nicholas Cage reportedly married Lisa Marie Presley due to his obsession with the King.

:yeah: I like the name. Don't forget the great American soccer player Mia Hamm.

I think it's an absolutely adorable name and I can't wait to see the pics :) Plus she has the same birthday as my mom so obviously she's a very special little baby ;)

Marine, I have a friend Mia, and she pronounces it Mee-yah. And she's British and South African by descent, not American, so yeah. :)
