I think Younès El Aynaoui will be back in the Top 50 at age 34 in 2006.
I never saw a tennis player working so hard. He is a true fighter.
Are there some people sharing my prediction.

hopefully, but the 1-11 record in 2005 didnt look good.

Im a huge younes fan and I think he is gone. It's a shame because he is a great player and such a nice guy but god what a bad year!

I like Younes a lot, but it didn't look like there was much left in him at the US Open.

I'm missing Younes too. Good luck in the 2006 season

I like the optimism. On the bright side, Younes has been showing signs of improvement lately. He took out Nicolas Lapentti before going out to Chela in a third set tiebreak in the final round of Madrid qualies. Recently, he took out the Roland Garros quarterfinalist Victor Hanescu en route to a semifinal in the high quality challenger in Ukraine.

Too bad Hicham Arazi retired, he was one of the most wasted talents ever, along with Marcelo Rios.

even his bad results, he played GREAT matches at the end of the season, specially in Madrid Qualys and some Challengers

I think many would love to see that happens. Will it? I always believe in the impossible so, yeah, why not? :)

Yeah but he was starting to pick up in the end - of - season challengers. Don't write him off....the start of any season provides surprises because some players are still half asleep from tournament hibernation...maybe he can repeat a 21/19 deciding set win over Roddick at the Aus

I really like Younes and I would love to see him back in the Top 40 next year. Realistically I doubt this will happen  but it's a nice dream and I wish him all the best.

I too wish him the best. A very nice/good person; to fans and to his opponents.
