 how many of these are you doing.

I'd say its harsh on Tojo to have him in there, he's not that bad.

A lot of people will probably say Roddick, which is :bs: he has won titles on the dirt, its just by far his weakest surface.

I agree. Moodie's so bad on clay that he deserves to appear twice in the list.

Karlovic

Philippoussis
Carlsen
Mirnyi

No way is Roddick one of the worst clay court players. I agree with Joeyd's list.

I'd take out the Flipper - he's had some decent wins on the dirt - and put in either Carlsen or P-dorn, otherwise good list.

Andy plays fine on clay! (in Texas).

Rusedski, Moodie, Ivo....

No way can a player who has won clay titles be one of the worst on that surface no matter where the tourney was held or who played there so Roddick can't be on this list.

So?
The thread isn't titled, "top 10 worst european clay courters". And even that wouldn't include Andy.

Where is Dent?

He's been close to the top 20 and has only played 11 matches on clay with a 2-9 record, never winning a match at RG. And he's been a pro for 5+ years.

I like the guy, but he and clay...... :o

I agree that Ginepri's record on clay is thusfar pretty bad, but I think his improvements over the past 6 months will translate at least in part to clay and I'd be surprised if he doesn't pick up more wins on it next year.

The French in 99 would verify what a bad claycourt player the Poo is.

Roddick win in Houston shouldn't count because you have to look at the opposition. Sampras also won a title on Clay. Paradorn should definitely be on the list. I am one of his ardent fans but clay is a nightmare for him.

I am one of his ardent fans but clay is a nightmare for him.Maybe winning in Houston shouldn't count - but the thing is there are still at least 10 players who can't even win matches there. So surely they would be worse than Andy, who has won it 3 times, made the final twice, won another title, and made the semis of a masters event? Not saying by any stretch that he's good on clay, just that I think there are more than 10 who are worse ;)

In the last 3 years he has won 2 matches on clay. One against Alex Kim in the 2004 Bermuda Challenger, and one against Thomas Blake in Houston.
