[Scotsman] Petrova close to WTA place as Linz Open final beckons

NADIA Petrova moved a step closer to securing a place in the year-ending WTA Championships yesterday when she defeated wild card Sybille Bammer 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to reach the semi-finals of the Linz Open in Austria.
