no - it was a joke ;) btw i was checking hotel prices on the web and it's thrilling that one night costs around 70 Euro (the middle class hotel i suppose... anything extraordinary!) what makes a month in my dormitory

Hmm I think Jeff & Rogier will have direct acceptance, as they are in Lyon at the moment, in the final. So I guess they didn't need to sign in.

If not, thanks for the info-thanks for trying, I am not too upset ;)

no, it goes this way $$$ => Lipka => WC
btw, did you read his "hobby" at ITF site? he says "GIRLS" and he's still a junior player. Buying WC's may be trendy in Equador, but I wouldn't think Germany is playing things like this as well.

In a newsletter from Sunday, they write that JCF personally said they should give a WC to Lipka. They even compare it with last year when Baghdatis got a WC, because they want to give unknown talents a chance. :haha:

A quite horrible draw this year. :help:
oh cum on, do not make me laugh. b'cause Djokovic won the event last year after quallies? here you have Korolev (when was he born? not in 1988 what makes 1 year less than Djoko) in Q draw, maybe he'll win the event too and will be a brighter star than Djoko is now.

then you had van Scheppingen seeded 1, now he's in Q draw.

last year you had Rosset, now it's El Aynaoui who's no worse

you have the rookie Baghdatis, big hope Stakhovsky etc.... I am taking 2005 draw! and even this terrible grotesque - Polish WC... or did they get so strongly inspired they are having a guest from Poland in my person ? :haha:

Thanks Nathaliia  I would've loved to go, but I am at my work from monday till friday as always, and I can't take a day off as I did take those already around the last DC-weekend. And in the weekend it would be a lot more expensive for me as I have more traveling costs then. So afterall, the best choice was to stay at home and save my money for a tourny with chiudi in it... I hope you will have a great time at this tourny, enjoying your 20th birthday  and thanks for supporting my Swiss heroes.

no way Sluiter and Groen! Sluiter playing my favourite Michael Ryderstedt twice (singles and doubles). I am really looking forward to see this guy, so... at least he should win in singles... and after long injury, it'll be difficult.

Marco won't be able to play again till january or maybe february he told us. so let's hope he is right and will be back the beginning of next year. Bad luck for me is that he won't be able to play rotterdam tournament with his ranking so I have no idea when I can see him again

Maybe his ranking will allow him to play Q
Still, at the beginning of February there should be a challenger in Wrocław where Marco reached the semifinal this year, so maybe he liked it... You know, a night in Wrocław shouldn't be more expensive than 4-5 Euro while entrance is for free ;) you're invited anytime

No he will lose many points and be around 700, that will never be enough to play qualies. It's sad, coz he wanted to come back, he enjoyed the tourny last year...

Prob is that it would also cost me a trip to Wroclaw, and that will make it expensive for me. And I will have school again and I have just decided that I am going to do my best more once I am back at school (alreayd know by now it's not going to work :p)

Hitchiking, baby ;) No, bad joke. It is dangerous :awww:. Well, I pay bit less than 70 Euro both sides to Aachen... but it's by bus, I leave Wednesday evening 21.30 and I'm supposed to be there next day 11.45 (only for strong nerves hehe). Yeaaah entrance to all events in Poland are cheap (at least for a foreigner) or for free. Anyway you can always get a player's pass. ;)

I like him, as he is an emotional man, really does everything for a team. And he is so friendly. I really like him a lot. My aunt knows him since a kid (he has the same age as my cousin) and she says that he really is a great guy, just as he seems on tv :)

70 euros isn't even that expensive, but I don't have that much at the moment:o well I maybe have it, but I wanna save for a next trip to chiudi-land...

That is nice that it is cheap over there, I really would like to go there once when I have more money, and I am sure chiudi will be there. But I think I won't be able to go next year. I usually don't mind bustrips, I would've gone by bus to switzerland if it wasn't cheaper by plane :p

I am happy I can still go to school/uni, I like it a lot more than working all the time. I am doing a work placement at the moment, and I am really happy when it is over and I can go back to school :)

Andy,
I am sitting in my bloody hometown Świdnica!!!!! And just look up one post above to see who has just lost! What's more, I may not get my lovely press pass!!! I am highly considering the sense of going there and getting rid of somekind of 100 Euro at least. Well, I am a person who can hold her nerves on whatever happens, but I admit I am just one close step to hysteria.

Mikaeeeeel.... you did it on purpose, didn't you? :sobbing:

I don't arrange the press passes ;) I only had one in Szczecin because my boss was reading my writing on the website about Latin Tennis which I used to have and he liked it a lot, and that's how he called me ;) So I was working in the press office. Interviews, articles, match reports.... I guess I was the one who was coming to work as a first one and going out as the last one.

As I got really good opinions about my work, I thought it could be fun to have a possibility of improving a bit and seeing how it looks in other places and just wrote about my situation to the person responsible for the press office in Aachen and he agreed, but when I asked for a confirmation yesterday, I didn't get an answer, that's why I'm unsure :awww:. I could be helping for free in the office witht he highest pleasure, despite I don't speak German almost at all.

And I have never lost any journalist competition in my lifetime ;) Ehhh I didn't considr it as my future job, but when so many people tell you that you are great, then you start to wonder. It's always good to have some experience in the "papers" for whatever may happen in future.

ah I didn't know you are doing journalist/ press stuff (as I hardly know you, just those pm's you did send me some time ago). That is nice when people say such nice comments about you. That must be nice to be able to do interviews and so on. I've always like that kind of job, but I know it is nothing for me, as my language skills are bad and I am too shy anyway.
I hope you can get your press ticket for Aachen :)

You are right, it is nice when people say the good things (especially the important people), but there's always the dark side, the others are jelaous (touched the dark side so painfully more than the bright one when I was a trainee reporter in a local newspaper when I was at highschool). And tennis interviews hehe... I was so terrified over there in Szczecin, like when Zabaleta was in hurry and I had to talk with him about the TV Show. I told him: "it's my first interview in English ever and I've never had a job like this before" and he was so nice to me, even was repeating things to help me with writng in the copybook. I have problems with English as well... I'm lack of words sometimes... it's something different to write in native language, other is when you write in foreign language or you must express something without looking up to a dic. Or when sometimes you use a word which is correct and your conversation holder doesn't understand (like when Serra didn't know what "spoiled" was... finally he admitted he WAS spoiled).

That is really nice, I think it is a lovely hobby. I like to write report about the tourny's I visit and so on, but that's all. Ahnow I see, so you are still a student as well :). Will try to remember your b'day as it is the day after my dads and it should've been my grandma's if she was still alive.

I can believe you were terrified, but it is really nice from Zabaleta that he was so nice to you. I think that's what you need the first times isn't it? Trust from those you interview. So it doesn't take your courage away.
Ah that is hard when the one you speak with doesn't understand you

Will you tell me few sentences about yourself? ;) I already know you're Yvo the Swiss fan and you're from Holland, you like cows ad you don't like walking in high-heel shoes. And you have a very funny signature.
Seems you know quite a lot about me already  what else should I say about me? I am studying Facility Management and at the moment I am doing a work placement. Which will finish at the end of the year. I am happy when I can normally go back to school again in january. I am 20 years old and will have my b'day in January.
Oh and what a lot of people wonder... why I have the finnish flag while I am Dutch? I have always loved this country, sadly only been there once, but my interests go back to when I was a young girl. And coz I am not really a big fan of my own country I have the habbit of taking the finnish one all the time.

oh you are so right! he's a desperado he's got amazing potential and he's already one of my starlets who used to be only latin players and monfils!!!

but younes... he's one of the nicest people ever... i was supporting younes but of course clapping for Zhenya after his AMAZING shots - i tell you, the third set could be shown like match of the day from bercy! and..... the end of the tie-break, younes saves mp with an impressive shot down the line close above the net! and takes another mp... i was already crying then... i had my make-up for so long and i was tired with a travel... my eyes hurt so much, i run away from the stand through the ppl, jumped through the barrier... caused by the impossible pain... left copybook and bag... went to the bathroom to wash my eyes... after the match finished all the ladies run after me to ask what happened and to give my things back to me...

later i was walking around the press place with a glass of water answering to everybody what happened and then i saw Younes, he looked quite cool (I already learnt he lost) so i decided to say bye and ask if it's possible that he'll come to Poland. and of course he asked if my eyes were alright cause he said he knew the pain (i was so astonished that i didnt ask - oh so do you use make-up?). and we had a pic together :yeah:

but the worst laugh have the brits sitting one row behind me... Jamie Delgado and James Auckland... they already had to look after my precious copybook including interviews, reports,(XXX) euro, ticket home and pic with Zabaleta...

Yes, Korolev plays for some German club, but I don't know which one.
You should check bundesleague results - I think we can find Korolev there.
And his birthplace is Moscow :)

James Auckland must have been devastated at losing a 5-1 lead and 3 match points  but that doesn't excuse him throwing his racket at Nathii in the stands - but he even missed that  .
It had been a good week until then. However, things did improve later when James and Jamie won thro to the semi-finals of the doubles, beating Kas and Summerer (GER) 6-3 6-7(5) 7-5 Next Snobel and Skoch (CZE) :yeah:

hahaha there's so funny about James he's the most pissed person at the tournament, because the tax in Germany goes up today and it eats his money he earned he just walks around and grumbles! nd he shouted at the reception desk he's going away from this bloody place tomorrow no matter what even if he wins today.... this guy is soooo funny!

at least him and Jamie Delgado are well-behaved, they say hi to me, differently to Chris Haggard you know... - he doesn't

and today i was given a lift by a shuttle with Igor and Zhenya... Russian Elephant... i have just read your message... ok i will try! he's sitting on the computer here now :)

y-day i didnt travel with Chris, my boss gave me a lift

now Yhenya is having an interview in German with one guy who speaks in such a funny way lol but at least i took a pic of Kunitsyn :yeah: Zhenya smiled to me twice at the hotel what made me say 'good luck' to him. now i am assured he speaks english - i've heard him speaking English so he's quite multilingual little thing! of course, i understand everything they said in russian in the shuttle  but you know - kurica nie ptica, Polsza nie zagranica :)

and i must share the secret i am so unhappily and terribly in love...... i didnt suppose i would see him here but horoscopes are never wrong.... the way he looked in my eyes and said 'kocham cie kochanie' (yes in polish.... this must true, he's half polish) and he said he cannot come to Wroclaw challenger cause they changed the schedule and he must go to dallas to defend points awwwwww that 's so bad.... i wonder if we will ever meet again..... it is impossible how this one the only one guy on earth turns me on.... terrible... unlucky....

and to all who may concern, no i haven't seen Tommy so far, i guess he even didn't come for breakfast lol.

Please tell me then how Meffert behaves on court, because he was disqualified in a match in Scheveningen this year. So obviously he can be very impulsive sometimes. ;)

score for you Meffert 4-3*

Meffert plays well... very strong Burgsmuller wants to defend, but at least fourth Meffert's shot touches the line and is soooo quick.
i haven't seen burgsmuller serving.

i am so highly uninterested in that match bleaaaah....

Nathii, I'm almost sure that Tommy is avoiding you this time :P LOL As if there is something to be afraid of ;)
Haggard... OMG everytime I think of him I hear in my head "come on Chris!!" it's too thrilling for me (no offence, I've got nothing against him, just bad memories from Sopot :P)
Picture with Younes... can't wait to see it

Meffert 6-7 went nuts in tie-break... even the public was very very much after him - is he from Aachen or what?

in the second set Meffert leads 1:0 with a break.
