 :worship: Can you see all the foot in mouths? Roger was so
lucky to scrape through the 2nd set. Andy finally took 1 of many break chances .

Yes, I had a hunch yesterday that all those confidently predicting a Federer victory could be left looking rather foolish today. Having said that heya, there's no need to continually post your oh-so hilarious comments about Federer. I'm a fan of his, but I also haven't been posting continual abuse about Roddick, so there's no need for you to stoop to that level just because of what a few idiotic posters say. Roddick won because he was the better player today, let's leave it at that.

08-09-2003, 10:44 PM
I understand. It's built up from seeing more than
a few posting "he's not as naturally talented" crap every time he's playing. Other players are so ideal, and
he's treated like he's another classless, all-power game

It's more admirable
to see him win with his strategy rather than with
natural born agility. He's not a really thin, quick-handed guy who'll run down everything.

08-10-2003, 03:24 AM
His strategy was to make Rogi double fault a bunch of times? Everyone who saw that match knows that Rogi let it go. He seemed to have something on his mind and wasn't himself from the moment he got on court. Andy got lucky Andre lost and Rogi was thinking about number one.

08-10-2003, 06:19 AM
LMAO. So, he just did nothing except stand there
and wait for Roger to daydream and fire double faults? He didn't even play that
well himself. His serve percentage and returns were just mediocre against Andre and Roger.

08-10-2003, 01:35 PM
That is cause Andy is not a great returner. Andy played great and Rogi played great only here and there. Andy got lucky. Anyone who saw that match knows Rogi was just not in the mood. A big give away.
