Maybe that way Young and USTA realize he needs to continue playing Futures and challengers... afterall not every player can be a Nadal or Gasquet.

yeah, marin lost focus completely. his serve let him down. oh well, he's playing guys who are two years older than him anyways, so 3 qfs and a win a the gs events is good enough for a 16 year old

Chardy is also a really good player, croat.

And Young is extremely overrated. He's a good player, but they act like he's going to be the next American great. I seriously doubt it.

And it's rare that junior success leads to pro success, so he might want to start tanking first rounds.

Too much pressure on Young to become the next best. He hasn't had his growth spurt yet so who knows what his game will be once he matures?
Sampras, Federer and Nadal were not the superstars of the juniors and look where they are.

Let him progess at a slower pace.
