Vcash for Winners of Games (PAW, PTS..etc, PBP too why not? lol)

I've said this b4.
I thought that considering vcash is not (or won't be) limited only for vbetting, and that there are many ways to get vcash (earn it), it'd be cool to give vprizes to all the winners of the different popular games, such as PAW, Predict-the-Score,...

Do you like the idea? Support it here.

I'm not sure how it could be done. I mean, I have some ideas on how to do it but I'm not quite sure if it's possible or not.

I think it's a great idea and we can definitley do it. We'd need to work with the organizers of each game on a case-by-case basis to come up with a vCash rewards prize money structure that fits with the model of each game.

It'll certainly be more interesting for participants in future when vCash can be spent on a wider variety of items on the site.

I like this idea, you should also have to put in money to play (maybe).

I like it's possible.

So you sign-up with an entrance fee and the organizer of the game can pool all the money together and then share it out among the winner(s) at the end of the game.

No, dont do that, then everyone cant play games. some people only have 1-10 vcash, but cant play PAW cuz fee is, lets say 20-100.

I say it can be both ways, either paying a minimal fee or without a fee at all (and giving vprizes as well)

I agree Denaon, I'd like to see vcash rewarded during the games too. I think it would get more people interested in playing the games.

The only problem is that many people do not even have an initial $10-25 to ante in, not even the gamblers, who are notorious for betting every penny they have, and then sometimes payouts are slow so people are left with no money to ante up.

To Amanda, I just sent you a PM about this for Suicide Tennis. :D
Wel, the idea is to get lots of people playing the current running games. To pay a V$ 10 or 25 fee is way out of proportion considering most of the posters have very little vcash (and paying that much will not encourage the game to become popular)
Maybe what can be done is to make different prizes for the different games.
If there's a minimal fee $ or none at all, then there should be a decently good (although low) vprize.
If the fee is big then the vprize should be big too..

Let's take PAW for instance, with a v$ 5 fee, and an average of 30 players, you have v$150 to give as a prize (maybe to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd: v$100, v$40 and v$10 respectively, or another combination, I dunno)

The thing is even a small entry fee shouldn't be out of reach for anyone who wanted to play a game. You get $25 just for taking a few minutes to post an entry in your journal.... and you can earn one of those bonuses every 12 hours. My thought was we'd have sponsored games whereby the house (us) came up with some prizes for you all and nobody would have to pay. We could also rank games in tier format much like you get on the official tour. For example: PAW would be a Tier I game and therefore have the most prize money available to win. As games grow more popular, the amount of vCash on offer would grow and desire to enter too.

I also like the ideas Denaon and Gravity have discussed in this thread too. But knowing Gravity's busy life it might take us a long time to develop the necessary system to manage all this. So we'll see.

It would also be upto the manager of each game to lodge a request for vCash prizes in their game. It will never be a requirement to be part of the vCash system but I think it could add a buzz to some games for sure.

It will stop people from wasting money unnecssarily if they really want to play.
