Cinderella Man. I like it!

09-05-2005, 10:13 PM
Please, James is now playing with confidence. You're acting like Blake is not hitting winners and waiting for Tommy's mistake!!

Mainly, the choke - if there was any - would be in the second set. But that choke aside, James has improved his game, and he'll probably win this in four (given the current situation). If anyone deserves to benefit from a little choking here and there, it's James, I guess. Either way, he's picking up his game, so all credit to him for hanging in there and fighting back.

Is just a case of James playing better than Tommy atm!

09-05-2005, 10:20 PM
CH... CH... CHOKEoh shut it! :( Blake is on fire! That's not helping matters here! :( Anyone would have troubles!

09-05-2005, 10:21 PM
Keep fighting Tommy
Can't believe how that second set slipped away :(

09-05-2005, 10:26 PM
Blake's playing better now, but Robredo definitely choke the second set away. I like Robredo better, but with Blake's previous results I think he deserves to go deep here, so I don't care if he wins this. I hope for a good match, but so far it isn't.

Good match, here in the 4th, they are both fighting it out. Why is the Ump fucking with the Match. Let the Players decide this thing out. Both are competing well this set. Love the Tennis here in the 4th.

Tommy :crying2:

I hope he doesn't dwell on this too much, he's still had a great year and I hope he keeps it up.

 Tommy

I'm sure the antics of the crowd didn't help him any.

robredo is just far too one dimensional. he has never changed a losing tactic in the years i've been watching him.

09-05-2005, 11:06 PM
it just seems that these are the lucky days for Blake, everything he does is a winner, every shot can be caught back, this Crowd support is surrrrrely a factor that adds to his fighting spirits,it doesn't help his opponents either ,they were just too noisy, cheered for Robredo df ,and errors specially those suspended in the James square ..
i felt pity for Robredo he played a good match, it's just that Blake(and the crowd )were too much ...Robredo's nerves betrayed him when it really mattered..

a performance of the highest mental ineptitude if ever there was one.

Tommy  what a choke :o :help:

Blake beat my baby boy Nadal....I still haven't recovered. I wanted to see Blake's weird shaped buttocks and boney legged ass out of the Open today, so badly.

YOU LET ME DOWN Robredo!!!!!!!!!!

Tommy made the same number of errors in each set: 11 in the first, 13 in the second, 12 in the third, 10 in the fourth.

James made 11 errors in the first, 9 in the second, 4 in the third and 6 in the fourth.

That was what changed in the match.

Tommy would have gotten a lot of momentum from winning the second set, but he by no means would have won the match. Blake still had a chance to get back in the game.
