That is David Benabou of France playing against Maxime Bonami. I swear, 95% of the people here would be able to beat him.

By the way, this is my first post. So, hi and all that.

I wonder who'd win if Benabou played Alex Bogdanovic. Could be a tight match :p

You just want to go to Pepe's Bodega that's the only reason you want to play in Båstad.

Seriously, I am going to coach him and make him a star, he can beat opponents, by making them laugh at his game.

You can play challengers qualies with a c +30/2 or b -4/6???
I should think you at least had to be B -15/...??

Or is the french system different from the Belgium's??

If this is true I'm going to qualify next tournament
I would have had no problems with that c 30/2 and on a good day can beat that b -4/6

The French system is different: -4/6 is equivalent to Belgium's B-15/4.
See this PDF for international ratings chart. http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/pdf/original/IO_3499_original.PDF

In events like these, I think anyone can enter regardless of their rating, but it is common sense not to do so when you are obviously going to get bageled.

Both funny and sad. I seriously thought it was an amateur video of a match going on in a TENNIS CLUB setting. But as soon as I saw and heard the umpire, whoa. You don't have to point out the facts, because it's right there when watching the clip. Serve looks like a bit like he's playing badminton.

1. he should consider a serious career change. i know a lot of club players (including me) who are better than him. heck, my 65-yr old grand dad can take him out!

2. if he played a nadal or roger, we might see only the 2nd golden set in history. heck, possibly even a golden match!

Any good player could get a golden set, just by playing much more carefully than normal, since he has no aggressive shots.

Good for him :yeah: But also be aware, what you see in this video is hardly representative of the quality of challengers past the first or possibly second qualifying round. Qualifiers in challengers are generally fiercely competitive, because qualification into the first round of the main draw earns an ATP point, so it is not something taken lightly at all.
How you get there anyway?

I havent seen a serve like that in my life...but it probably delivers a killer slice. We better watch out :smoke: Agassi should be happy he is out of the game.

didn't this guy have a coach when he was a kid? normally nobody would let this crap pass for a proper serve, so did he just ignore all the advice he must've been given constantly?
