Yeah, I dont blame anyone for forgetting that.... Its odd.
Anyway, Pavel is a good player. Now that I did vent enough (:o) I can say it objectively: its a better draw for Guga than someone like Rusedski. Its well known Guga has problems with net players. And Kuerten leads the head-to-head 6-0, and although 5 of these wins were on clay, it says something.
It should be an interesting match. Very dangerous, though. :eek:

yeah,despite Pavel is defending champion,I think Guga can win this one even it's hard court.
But Pavel is defending champion,so maybe he knows how to play well here,so I think it's still a tough match for Guga.

Lleyton's draw pfffffffff.

I was mainly looking for my two favorite up-and-comers, and it's 1 and 1 for them. Jarkko Nieminen drew Richard Kraijeck (yeek!), but Michel Kratochvil drew a qualifier.

But it looks like a lot of people got bad draws. James Blake will most likely face Tim Henman in the second round :( Michel will probably see Roger Federer in round two :( But, if Juan Carlos can get through his first round, he should have a relatively easy time until the quarters or so.

All in all, it's going to be a very interesting tournament!

Many great players are drawn against each other in the first round and will cancel each other out too early. :(

Ferrero certainly doesn't have it easy, poor guy. :sad:

Neither does Corretja, who will play Schalken! :eek: Only to be rewarded with a date with Tommy Haas in the second round, if he happens to win.

And Rusedski really has it bad, not to mention Guga.
