Agassi returned a 150 mph serve (the new service speed record at the time) from Roddick in the 2003 Queen's Club SF (but lost the match).

This match just goes to show how tremendously talented PHM is and that if he were mentally strong, he would be top 10 for sure.

Seems to me that most guys on tour aren't as intimidated by Roddick's serve anymore. Or at least he's not able to rely on it as much as he used to.

That's what you call guessing where he's going at the right time.

Just imagine how bigger his winner would have been had he taken a full cut at the ball. He simply steered it down the line, using the pace of Roddick's serve. That's all it takes. :)

ust imagine how bigger his winner would have been had he taken a full cut at the ball.

He wouldn't have been able to hit it cleanly taking a full swing because he wouldn't have had enough time. Odds are that the ball would've gone off of the frame into the stands.

That's what I've always been telling. But the question is, will he get his head together to achieve really big results?

And IMO, that return winner was the turning point of the match. PHM had just lost his serve and he managed to break Roddick right back with that winner, which he simply blocked the serve back and clipped the base line. He was in full steam after that.

That's what I've always been telling. But the question is, will he get his head together to achieve really big results? He's a talented player, with a lot more potentional than Roddick.
But he isn't naturally coordinated enough to take out players whose games are based on consistency.
