Yeh, now at least Seb can focus all his energy on the singles.
Seb's match versus Richard will be in the centre court!Allez Seb, go to get the victory of this important match. ;)
August 10, 2005 - Sebastien Grosjean recovered from a 5-2 deficit in the first set to defeat countryman sensation Richard Gasquet 7-6(4), 6-3 and advance to the third round of the Rogers Cup in Montreal.
The rain interrupted the match with Gasquet leading 5-3 30-40 in the first set. Grosjean immediately converted the break point to get back in the match and used the momentum to win the first set i in a tie-break.
Grosjean hit a total of 10 aces while and the first break point he had in the second set. He held on to win in 1 hour, 46 minutes of play.
I'm so proud of Sebastien! :D :bounce: He's demonstrated who is French number one :p
The next rival is Nadal. That would be not bad to beat him also lol ALLEZ SEBASTIEN!

YAY SEBASTIEN!!!! I'd always believe he can do well ^^ it just depends on his form! if he's in top form he can beat anybody with his forehands! For sebastien to win it always depends on his form :P which makes the match always interesting :D Have to say he's pretty easily broken at times lol but no doubt he's awesome at breaking back! YAY GO SEBASTIEN!!!! Nadal is going down~~~ :D

Points won on 1st serve 73%-76%
Aces on 2nd serve 0-0
Points won on 2nd serve 61%-44%

Seb was not outplayed at all. He just didn't manage to take his chances whereas Nadal was very efficient when he had one single opportunity. The score and stats say it all. One early break in each set for Nadal that Seb could not recover. That's all. That's that simple. Anyway, seing his draw, a third round exit is not so bad. Maybe the manner in which it happened is a bit frustrating but well...C'est la vie! ;)

  Grosjean did play very well, but Rafael got the win.
08-12-2005, 01:26 AM
I just wished that Sebastien would have won, to get a chance to get closer to the finals. Since Nadal has won many tournaments, it wouldn't have been bad if Grosjean won.
 Does anyone agree with me? Or am I the only one who feels like this?

You DID make all efforts! Seb!
There's no denying that you can do better in US OPEN!
