Andre Agassi vs. Alberto Martin is tomorrow, the Nadal/Moya match is not.

I would guess that they would show Nadal vs. Moya, but it is ESPN and we can't really say for sure, now can we?

Knowing ESPN, on Tuesday they will show Roddick vs Mathieu :banghead:

ESPN has not shown more than 2 points of a Nadal match since they replayed the RG final.

I forgot about Andy Roddick and Mathieu. ESPN is quite partial to Nadal and Hewitt as well though.

If it comes to just one match, I'd say Roddick will be shown, but I just don't understand how they can talk about Nadal and Moya so much and not show it.

I guess I still have some faith in humanity.

To be fair, he didn't last long at Wimbledon and then palyed in torunaments that ESPN doesn't normally cover. If he advances in Canada, we will see plenty of him.

ESPN has two televised sessions on Tuesday (afternoon and night). One session will definitely be Roddick-Mathieu. It is probable that Moya-Nadal could be the other session. The only other probability would be Hewitt's match.

If they don't show Nadal vs. Moya they would be pretty stupid.

for all you Americans, did you know that TSN in Canada is showing all the matches starting at 11:00am and that it's very easy to get it via satellite?

I doubt that it's "very easy."

ESPN+ (only Arg, Bra, Mex, Uru, Par, Bol) will show Youhzny vs Gasquet.
ESPN Latino (all Latin America) will show Hrbaty vs Henman and Nalbandian vs Chela during day. And Agassi vs Martin at night.

Hmmm...they could show it since it won't be until the second day and they will be showing two matches that day. One will be Andy and so maybe the other will be Nadal/Moya. I'm not betting my house on it- but it could be possible. Or they could show the Hewitt match. I'm thinking the second match will be Hewitt or Nadal/Moya. Unless they reshow the Andy match (a'la French Open coverage ca. 2004) which will then cause steam to come out of my ears like a cartoon.

I wish Carlos Moya would win again dammit.

At least we'll get to see the best show of biceps in the ATP. And we can watch Carlos's pretty, pretty, pretty face.

oh well, on ESPN site "only Latin America" (maybe Brazil is not consider :p) and yes, ESPN+ don't mention about brazil, but in TV they added brazilian time in the schedule.

anyway, seems like we have lot of tennis on TV in comparision with other countries :D

Yes they will show it. The match is not before 1pm eastern tomorrow, and ESPN's day coverage is 1-3pm Eastern.

Tennis Canada also has Roddick & Sharapova on its homepage (instead of Canadian players).

On ESPN they showed that they will have coverage of the Nadal/Moya match tomorrow...I think they said 1pm Eastern time. But of course they had to screw something up as always, and they wrote Rafa's name as Raphael on the screen.
When will they ever get something correct.

Well that's not as bad as Brad Gilbert Americanizing Martin's name. I swear, you'd think spending years in the tennis world traveling to different countries, the guy wouldn't be such a friggin' moron.

NYCtennisfan

They're showing it. Everyone can settle down now. They also showed some of Rusedski's match and the end of Henman/Hrbaty since they had ample time left over after Agassi beat up on Martin.

No. You should save your "skip day" for a match that's going to be good. Nadal is going to destroy Moya. Sad, but true.

A lot of people seem to think that Nadal is going to simply walk over Moya.
Sure, Moya does not have the form he used to have but he still has quite a bit of experience he can use to beat Nadal.

Furthermore, Nadal himself commented that the faster court in Montreal takes some getting used to after that long season mainly on clay.

I hope he can win (but I won't be sad to see Moya go through either) because I really want him to prove his potential on hardcourt a bit more to the doubters.

Anyway, all those people complaining about ESPN...hey, it could be worse. At least, you get to see tennis.
Tennis coverage for the rest of the season here: next to nothing (except for Clijsters or Henin matches).
It'll be internet scoreboards for me, mostly.
