the match is almost over.

Chela's backhand is looking good... it seems he is going to have a good hardcourt season.

Agassi has been hitting the ball really well this week. Congrats to him. All in all, Agassi is having a pretty decent year and might've had a very good year if a guy named JesusFed was not around. He lost in the SF at Dubai and TMS Miami to Fed and in the QF at the AO to him as well. He was playing reall well going into those matches as well and might've beaten just about anyone else (probably at least even odds to do so). He also has a SF loss to Coria at Rome which was a good result and made it to the QF at TMS Indian Wells before pulling out with an injury. He does have some clunker losses to Grosjean and Melzer though.

What's the career titles record?

Sjengster

59. I have to admit, the Gigster has been missed on here in the last couple of months. I'm sure she felt like crashing at this moment during RG and Wimbledon, but hardcourts have always been Agassi's saviour.

What's the career titles record?

Connors with 105
Lendl with 94

Things were a lot different on the ATP Tour when a lot of these titles were won though especially a lot of Connors' early victories in one small tourny after another where there was absolutely nobody to even challenge him to get to a TB. Not taking away from the accomplishments but we will probably never see anyone get to 70 titles again. I think Nadal has the best chance since he is only 19 and already has 9. By age 23 he could have 35 or so and then he would have a shot to get to 70.

nah, those numbers are unreachable.

In '70s / '80s tennis wasn't as professional as today. It was played more relaxed, with less money and pressure. That's why they didn't have lot of injuries as nowadays, although they used to play more tournaments per year.
