He's awesome, gonna win Wimbledon this year I tell ya.

06-17-2005, 03:44 PM
Yep, a win over Sanguinetti is world class!! What an incredible effort.

ok even i can admit the win wasnt that great... he needs to be alot sharper on his volleys and he still isnt coming into the net as much as he should. he use to chip/charge almost every opporunity but today he made the mistake of playing from the baseline. when he did choose to chip/charge he was good. serves were ok, but not great either, needs to pick up first serve percentage. he admitted he lost concentration in the 2nd which is silly, but to his credit fought back and played solid in the tie breaker...

theres still heaps of room for imporvement, but he needs these matches regardless of quality. hes been out so long hes lost his timing and confidence, so with every match it will help for next week... i still think he's holding back, hes doing what he has to to win but i dont think he's pushing himself too hard.

ok my summary is done, but im loving the fact he's back on court and he does look good. he's definately been hitting the gym!

GO MARK!!!!!!!!!!

Reports are saying his serve was 'da bomb'.looked very good from what I saw on the online feed. Oh oh, Mark is starting to find his way...don't tell Roddick!! SHHHHHHH!!!Why would he care? He wouldn't have to face him til the finals at Wimby. Marat might care more, though ;)

Anyway, hooooooray flip! :aparty::woohoo: Now he just needs to stay healthy :awww:

06-17-2005, 05:57 PM
Marat might care more, though ;)

I think Karol might have something to say about that.

I think Karol might have something to say about that.He might... but Andy still wouldn't really care. lol.

Well done, Scud! :yeah:

Looks like two strong tiebreaks today! :)
(and not like against Garcia Lopez or C. Rochus....)

06-17-2005, 07:49 PM
Good win for Mark. His match with Marat better be on Center court.

I'm hoping for Philippoussis to take the title now, he's quite a very likable player for me and it would be awesome for him to win a title after struggling so much the last time :clap2:

And I like his normally high risk play and that he is looking to decide the matches being offensive.

06-17-2005, 09:33 PM
Mark:banana: Continue man:D!!!!!!!

06-18-2005, 12:42 AM

YAY!!! Great one Flip!!! Take the title! :D

Nice work Scud. I look forward the day you return to be a threat to any half decent pro on a surface other than grass, but i have no doubt it will come. A title win will do heaps for a mans confidence, especially a confident man such as the Scud.
