Just the one play for me, and am taking a dog....

Reds ML (Claussen) v Braves - $2.00 (5 units)

Braves have been on travelling a lot the past couple of weeks, and Reds at home arent actually too bad with Claussen running into some decent form.

Middle of the 2nd

Reds got some work to do, but just need to get a swing at the braves bullpen....

It's like their offense has been turned off the last 3 games.

It's like their offense has been turned off the last 3 games.

I was banking on them lighting it up at home, where they have done ok, smoltz has been scratchy recently apart from his last start

Casey and Lopez have been prime contributors for them, and they're on the bench to start this game.

Don't flame me for this, but sometimes they announce coaching decisions such as who will sit in the Preview on ESPN.com and various other baseball websites.

NATAS81

Tough luck man, Casey is out due to personal reasons.

If I had to pick a remaining single, I'd go with Minnesota (5-5 L10 games)

Lohse on the mound, below 4 ERA.

Against Tomko, my favorite former Reds starting pitcher.

Hopefully you can jump on board for that game, I'd like for you to make up for the Reds poor offensive slump of late.

I think the Red Sox series has mentally crushed them, they were playing well before that series

NATAS81
06-17-2005, 12:16 AM
Yes, perhaps the ghosts of Carlton Fisk cast a spell on the team's offense.

NATAS81
06-17-2005, 12:17 AM
Randa, Griffey, Pena due up

Aside from Lopez, I don't see anyone going deep in the next 2 innings.

Griffey, Dunn, Pena is our hope to produce.

Hopefully Freel sets the table for them in the 6th.

NATAS81
06-17-2005, 01:34 AM
Huge job by Coffey to preserve the 3 run deficit.

Great call by the Reds management to intentionally walk to load the bases.

NATAS81
06-17-2005, 01:36 AM
Valentin, Pinch hitter, Freel due up for Cincy bottom 8th.

Smoltz still going strong..

99 pitches through 7 innings

NATAS81

Pena strikes out from the 0-2 hole..

Dunn grounds into fielder's choice.. they're on the corners for Felipe "career year" Lopez..

NATAS81
06-17-2005, 01:55 AM
Lopez grounds out to first to complete the Reds 5-2 loss at home.

No Casey or LaRue certainly hurt.

The bullpen continues to stuggle giving up a pair of runs.

Reitsma, the former Red, saves Smoltz' brilliant 8 inning performance.

:(

Cincy has dropped four in a row.

That wraps up the baseball day folks!

NBA Finals time  :wavey:
