I think Federer in 2, he was relaxed in Halle and not playing 100%, but I think he is going to give 100% in this match - it's Safin, it's last match before Wibledon and it's finals...

Safin doesn't like grass and the only think that could maby working for him is Federer's possible fear from him, because he won their's last meeting and Safin is so unpredictable, knows to do what you think he is not able to...

And he is coached by Federer's ex-coach...

"What about your knee?

Itís still there. I stay in contact with the doctors regularly and there is this alternative: To rest immediately for a while or to try to go further for a while. Yesterday against Rochus I did two movements on the court and had such big pain, that I thought to retire. But after a little break it still worked. This is not easy for me, but I want to fight and want to pick up some more points on grass as long as it works."

I don't care as much about the stats as I care about what that will do to Federer's head. It seems that losing to Marat in AO screwed him up bad. Losing to Marat twice in a row, this time on GRASS would be devastating.

I don't know about that. Almost all players seem to have gone through a lean phase after winning 3-4 slams in the previous year. The burden of expectation is too much to bear. Based on how this year is turning out, Fed may not be an exception.

I have faith that he will bounce back eventually.

Maybe "streak" is not a right word, if so, then scratch! :shout:
I was just pointing out that Fed has rebounded with a victory at his next tournament following his loss since last year's Olympics. Cincy Masters and the Olympics are where he's lost consecutively most recently.
