This is inspired by the dude who made the "most tourneys won by a player in a certain country"
Keep in mind Federer already has 2 Indian Wells, 1 Miami, 1 TMC Houston, and 1 US Open at only 23 years old

Federer has 2 TMC Houston titles ('03, '04) Federer must have a total of 6 USA titles.
Hewitt : 1 USOpen; 2 Indian Wells; 1 Delray Beach; 1 San Jose; 2 Scottsdale; Hewitt must have a total of 7 USA titles. Of course Hewitt also won 2 TMC but they weren't held in the USA.
I will guess the answer is Hewitt. However, it could have been someone from longer ago.

Lendl won 36 tournaments in the United States but he is now an American citizen and I believe gained citizenship near the latter days of his career. BTW, I'm "that dude". :)
Borg BTW won 13 titles in the U.S.

Oh, i guess i got confused on the 2003 one. I assumed that was in China.
I know Rafter and Edberg won back to back US Open titles but am not sure if that's all they won in the USA tourneys.

As Lendl won most when he was a Czech citizen, I think he should be counted. Could also have something to do with the fact he's my fav all-time great:)
