I was wondering who would be the best allrounder of this year, who would be able to get most number of ATP points combining French Open and Wimbledon.

Most probably its going to be Federer making to the semis on clay and hot favourate on grass. Who would be number 2 and 3.

Last years all rounders were:
Tim Henaman. (Semis in French open and Quarters on grass)
Hewitt (Quarters of both wimbledon and french open)

Safin or Federer

Why is the "best allarounder" the one who wins most form FO and Wimby? Wouldn't it be who ever wins the most from all 4 majors?

Roger can't increase his entry rank points from last year's Wimby or USOpen. He has to win the titles just to maintain what he has.

I say Federer will have a good chance this year. :)

It would be a surprise to me if it were not Federer.

Well, since the ATP heavily factors in wins at the QF, SF, and F stages, the players who perform well at both Wimby and the FO don't necessarily earn the most points so the thread title is a bit misleading but I see what you are saying. :)

Henman's race points from Wimbledon/FO: 135
Hewitt's race points from Wimbledon/FO: 90
Federer's race points from Wimbledon/FO: 215
Gaudio's race points from Wimbledon/FO: 200
Roddick's race points from Wimbledon/FO: 147
