I like hard court too but there it's almost 100% sure Roger will beat everyone!
So clay can give him some good tests....

i dont like clay much. Usually won on errors than winners and every player grunts loud

The grunts, IMO, are commonplace among ARG/ESP/CHI. Just as their crowds are as Puerta mentioned in his post-match address to the RG crowd.

As far as clay, I like the beatiful movement, but hate the notion of slowing down play.

I miss the clay season already too - summer clay isn't the same - smaller tournaments and all. Of course, Nico does well in those tournaments so that will be fun...hopefully he can win another title at one of them again. And watching to see how Rafa improves on hardcourt will be fun too. But just not the same as spring clay court season...total sadness here....

The only thing I don't like about the grass season is that compared to the clay season, there are far fewer players who play a really good game on grass. The standard of play on clay is generally better than the standard of play on grass simply because the players have far more time over the course of the season and over their career to develop their clay skills. That's the main reason i pray for the good of tennis that the grass season can be extended by at least a week to give players more time to improve on it. I doubt very much whether the Wimbledon final will be anything like as good as Nadal v Puerta was today.

Yeah, it's kind of unfair to schedule grass to such a limited number of warmup events as opposed to all other surfaces.

Watching the first day of Queen's is always weird after watching the final clay match of the first half of the season. Player A serves...Player B manages to get a racquet on it but the ball goes into the crowd. So many 2 point rallies! The first couple of days are a bit boring really...I guess it is the transitional period!

You want a stylistic contrast, try going from watching Gaudio and Coria battle it out for three and a half hours with 20 breaks of serve between them to watching Karlovic v Gambill at Queens, a match which Karlovic won thanks to a single fortunate return of serve in the final set tiebreak.
