Didn't ginepri begin his pro tour with the double bagel (by Hewitt)

I knew clay was not his strong point, but this is stretching it

yeah, really bad for Guga that he is struggling so much finding any level somewhere near his old strength

the examples of Guga, Schalken, El Aynaoui are just showing how tough it can be to connect to the current level of players who were healthy... therefore even more credit to all in the past who have been out for half a year or even more and managed to come back well

This is so sad for Guga
The tournament probably means to him as much as anything else in his life
I would have liked to see him go far

Yes, he is actually very good. Great talent, and versitile to boot. Check out the tagged thread when I update it for his consistantly winning results; he's been on a hot streak ever since last year.

PMac did not sound pleased. Most of his "little chickens" as Clif so endearingly calls him are really sucking bigtime.

Robby... just.. :o Time for challengers for you methinks.

No, that match happened after he'd been on tour for a while. I'd already seen him play at two tournaments before that. I think it may have been his first time at a Masters, and he knew he was on TV. He told me a few years ago that it was the most nervous he'd ever been for a match.

Don't know what happened to him today, that's a hideous scoreline, even for Robby (muffinhead that he is). If he loses early in Doubles he should go to the Surbiton Challenger and try to get some matches in, even if it means going through qualies since he's a late entry.

Djokovic is quite good I must say. I've seen him play two months ago and he is certainly a talent for the future. He will make some damage on the tour, so don't be surprised...

thats so very truth Neely!!!
very hard to comeback to tournament play at high level
and year before when Haas comed back from 500 days away with very big injury in February, he already won two tournaments and made a masters quarterfinal the months after and some great people had nothing else to doing than to critisise him for losing easy his QUARTERFINAL at the US Open against HEWITT instead they take into account what he did to get a high ranking again before and to make it so far
and now player like Schalken, Aynaoui and Guga cannot win against most easy opponents and do NOTHING for months

Now beat Coria!

Yes this guy is really good and will have a great career. About his looks, he looks a lot like Tim Henman, you cant tell the difference from far away. I'm sure someone will be able to find a pic.

Djokovic didn't care about what his personal ranking or level is, he came out with complete belief that he would crush Ginepri.

Robby bombed really badly in Paris. He must have had an injury or something with such an embarrassing scoreline. Poor Robby.

Hi Domino!! :wavey: I appreciate your tagged thread! I only saw him playing vs Marat at AO this year but I must say I was impressed. :yeah: He's certainly a great talent. :D I hope to see him against Coria now.
Dunno if clay's his best surface him being such a tall guy.
