Any male players left with hair on their legs?

Are these guys tennis players or a swimteam? Ferrero, Massu, Coria, Ferrer, La Lopez, even that handsome hairball Fernando Gonzalez (and you know Nadal would, if he had any). They all look smoother than butter. And I don't like it. Evidently there's some reason for it (better massage, one said), but from a girl who likes M-E-N, it's gives me great pause. Aggasi got ragged on when he waxed his chest...so lets hear it now for the natural look!

Seeing as Nadal can grow facial hair, I assume he has leg hair.

Do smoother legs help one move around the court faster?
Or their girlfriends or wives like smooth legs or something.

Good point. So would Rod Laver and Pete Sampras.

Jonas is pretty hairy I think... I've spent too much time looking at his quadriceps, so you notice these things. Alex Popp is tres hairy! Then again, he's been on an 8(or so) month hiatus from the sport.

I was originally peeved by this thread, lol but then it got me to thinking....and gave me a good excuse to check out photos of my favourites ;)

I think if somebody was born like Sampras, then fine, let it be natural. If somebody wants to trim some down, then go ahead. If somebody wants to shave or wax......NO. This isn't the WTA. And natural is always the way to go!

The reason why they do it is because the massages become easier or something like that.

Massage oil + hair = bad combination. You have a lot of skin problems because of the friction. :o

OTOH, you have a lot of ingrown hair because of waxing.

I say they do it for aesthetic reasons. Which ones those might be, I have no idea.

I like hairy legs. Period.

somewhat a different thing, but Rafter cut off his hair and went for the GI look because his medic told him that he sweated too much and somehow long hair would exacerbate the problem
