Wow, looks like he was able to beat Mr. Consistency, although the run should end when he faces Richie. Anyone see the match?
Seppi beat Novak 6-3 6-4SwissMister1 05-12-2005, 03:24 PM Wow, looks like he was able to beat Mr. Consistency, although the run should end when he faces Richie. Anyone see the match? willie 05-12-2005, 03:29 PM wow, i cant believe this seppi, is he a young player who is rising or an old one that never won enything and wants to go with glory??? Action Jackson 05-12-2005, 03:30 PM If Seppi was old you would have heard about him before. He is a young guy and like Gasquet had to come through qualifying and the win against Cañas seems to have given some good confidence. Good luck tomorrow I'd like to see the Gasquet hype get stalled again. SwissMister1 05-12-2005, 03:34 PM I guess it is too bad for Seppi that all this progress in the rankings should get him into the main draw at Wimbledon, but not RG. Action Jackson 05-12-2005, 03:54 PM He inisde the top 100 now which is something. TennisLurker 05-12-2005, 04:13 PM He is going to play Gasquet? I thought we would have a battle of the clones tomorrow Chela vs Seppi Good luck to him Action Jackson 05-12-2005, 04:16 PM He is going to play Gasquet? I thought we would have a battle of the clones tomorrow Chela vs Seppi Good luck to him Chela plays either Gaudio/Rochus and Seppi plays Gasquet. It says that Seppi prefers playing on hardcourts than clay. Fergie 05-12-2005, 05:37 PM Well done Seppi :yeah: NATAS81 05-12-2005, 05:40 PM Wow, you have to give credit to Seppi playing well on his unpreferred surface. Though, Canas has been slumping and Novak isn't exactly a beast on clay. I think he has a pretty good shot to give Richard seom trouble tomorrow. FORZA kid! *julie* 05-12-2005, 05:49 PM I'd like to see the Gasquet hype get stalled again. :fiery: Good luck Richard! Go to the semis! TennisLurker 05-12-2005, 07:45 PM He plays like Chela, in another forum we call him the Poor´s man Chela, same body tipe, strokes, style of playing. He is italian and a looks a little like courier or fish. TennisLurker 05-12-2005, 07:46 PM he is young, they gave him a wc last year in rome and tested hewitt, he defeated rainer at the us open, he has been doing good lately. jole 05-12-2005, 07:49 PM Seppi is the new Italian God, move over Pozzi/Renzo. tennischick 05-12-2005, 08:00 PM Seppi is the new Italian God, move over Pozzi/Renzo. Pozzi :inlove: whatever became of him? i used to love watching him play. jole 05-12-2005, 08:07 PM The man from Bari officially retired from the tour last year. He had one hell of an inspiring career. I'm not sure what he is doing now, but I will try to find out. http://www.itineraweb.com/fotografie/sport/pozzi3.jpg tennischick 05-12-2005, 08:08 PM The man from Bari officially retired from the tour last year.
