Christ almighty Henman... 46 unforced errors can do that to you!

I mean, sure, the umpire was a moronic idiot of sorts to miss the fact that Chela had succumbed to a double fault when Henman had Adv. at 4-4, but that's no excuse for giving the set away and consistently playing like shit in the third.

Yeah he sure did. But he definitely got a lot of help from good ole reliable Henman  Had Tim even remotely tried to employ the game of tennis midway through the 2nd, this would've been a straight-set win.. But alas, we are treated to typical Henman-fare, blowing away tons and tons of easy shots (mostly via the forehand, as per usual), and simply giving the match away. Well done! :clap2:

reading on BBC sport... the umpire's overule changed it all, from that Henman's mind was gone...

Yeah, he played like an amateur in his own service game following that untimely incident, and never really recovered. You could tell how much it was bugging him. He knew he was right, the umpire just wouldn't buy it.

Still, in the end, Henman is solely to blame for such a dreadful lapse during the remainder of the match. You can't let a thing like that affect your entire game to such a degree... it's just weak.

Precisely. I mean that call at 4-4 was a load of crap, but to let it reduce you to a 6-2 defeat in the third?!?! Pitiful.

I really don't see how Tim's gonna equal the year he had last year; if I were him, I'd be pretty scared going into RG next week...

I knew Henman's chip and charge play wasn't going to last on clay...

Ball stands up too long..

The guy must have been the first blind man to Umpire a tennis match the idiot.

I seen that point on tv...
Umpire's should get fucking fined and banned for idiotic mistakes like that...
but still Henman should have held himself together a bit more, but there's the difference ... champions can get through any situation, Henman cant.

What happened to Tim's new-found mental strength he was babbling on about earlier this year? Come on, Tim, you can play better than this. Do better at RG.
