You wont be able to get access to the net most likely when you are in rg? unless you can find a cafe or something :D
I wish the atp released early qualifying lists too, the wta puts the qualy entry list with the maindraw entry list. I hope big jim plays though, will be interesting to see what the legend is like :yeah:

Jim said there is plenty of internet access in the player lounge, so shouldn't be a problem :D

I gurantee if you went round asking for autographs in the players room you would get kicked out or escorted out of there.

You know it makes me wonder if a player has ever told someone to piss off (when they were asked to sign an autograph)

They blatently have. I bet Martijn's been refused SO many times, predominantly as a result of his eccentric looks. And I would imagine he's tried to jump security (unsuccessfully).

Security :D half of the tournaments just have female teeny boppers working there

Yeah, they probably still bounced Martijn.

I have heard doubles entry lists usually vary quite abit from the players who actually turn up?

Then you've heard wrong (or repeated it incorrectly). The doubles entry list is only for the first 8 spots in the draw. The guys who get one of those spots usually show up for it, unless they are injured or something. You can go back through any of the tournament threads here for this season and compare the doubles entry lists that were posted to the actual draws and they should match up fairly well.

Six spots in each draw are left open for singles players and late sign-ins. Sign-ins for ATP tournaments are usually 6 pm on Saturday. Last year in LA I happened to be standing around the tournament desk at sign-in and it was interesting to see the draw come together, who got in and who didn't, which players were standing there switching around with each other at the last minute, Ginepri was on the phone from out of town trying to get in, one team was begging for a wild card. A little bit of chaos for a few minutes, but the Tournament Directors know what they are doing.
