Corinna, speaking about Dachau, I went once and visited the Struthoff Camp here. And I can tell you that I'm still feeling chills down my spine when I think about it. Even our guide has felt ill at one time. He simply couldn't speak for a few minutes, overwhelmed by emotions. And when you know that he's doing the same thing every day, you can imagine how ppl who discover it for the 1st time can react! Hope you'll hang on girl...

i went to the S21 camp (Khmer Rouge camp) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia about erm..2 and a half years ago..and the entire atmosphere in the place, which was actually a school compound..was really depressing. some of the rooms had been divided into really tiny cells, surrounded by brick walls... and everythign was so in your face. everyone was really overwhelmed by emotions and a little queasy.. and there was this room where they had the skulls of all those who dies.... :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad:
