No wonder Tommy Haas doesn't live there any more!

Doesn't the centre court have a retractable roof? Maybe if it gets too cold it could come into use!

Oh no. Every year it´s the same. A few days before the tournament starts, the weather in Hamburg is fine but when the tournament begins, the weather gets worse. It seems as if this tournament is jinxed.

Believe me, this doesn´t help. I was there 3 years ago and the roof was closed, but I still froze my buns off.

Dress up properly and have the right layers then it shouldn't be a problem.

Minions like us play in colder conditions and that is Hamburg.

 You sound like my mom! Yeah, I will survive! I was just thinking because I have this tourney coming up next weekend and my team will kill me if I'm sick (again!) ;)

If they were playing outdoors with 100km/h winds and 5 degrees outside then I'll have some sympathy, otherwise not.

Us? Nope, it's supposed to be indoors but I don't really intent on playing with a temperature :cuckoo: because if I did --> "bye bye oral exams the week after" Believe me, been there & done that!

Don´t be so cruel GWH  I have just come back from practice where I was wearing four sweaters, a fleece jacket, another thick jacket, a skirt down to my ankles, thermal gloves and boots! And I was still freezing! In Rome it was probably too hot for me and I burnt badly - now I am still shivering in the Business Centre of the Hotel. So - have a heart - 10 degrees is too damn cold to sit still and watch tennis let alone play it

Dear, I can do well without your sympathy, thanks. :)
