If both at their best (even on hard courts) Verdasco should be just too good, facts are facts and if you can┤t see this, you should learn a bit more about tennis, dude.
Your "facts" are faulty because you are basing it on something that hasn't even happened yet and it's obvious that you have your own biases to contend with, as do I.

I'm not going to waste my time getting into a bizarre argument over who is truly the "best" player right now between a former No. 1 with seventeen titles to his name (plus a few mentions in the record book) playing on his worst surface and a kid who is just starting his career playing on his best surface. It it far too premature to even speculate on such things and even you must know this.

Suffice it to say that Verdasco won fair and square, played great, and so props to him. This is a great win for him over a top player.

And cheers to you. :)

Becca Gaudio threw it away. I am not saying he would have won nor discrediting David but he should had tried and done much better. Really sad. I thought winning RG changed him with him doing so well this year and all. Doesn't he know that Rome is one ofthe top 4 clay events?

21:28 DOUBLE BREAK POINT for NADAL, Canas is beginning to feel the pressure with a series of backhands above shoulder height... the Argentine is serving at 15-40... Canas hits a high-quality forehand winner for 30-40; ONE POINT... Nadal gives heat to backhand drives but shanks a forehand wide of court; DEUCE!

any one see this..

Xavier Malisse has been suspended for four weeks and fined 4620 euros for behaviour during a second round match against David Ferrer at the Miami Masters last month, the ATP confirmed on Tuesday. The Belgian was defaulted at 6-3 5-5 for ''verbal abuse of a line umpire,'' reports James Buddell.

Malisse was said to have thrown a ball at the line judge, hitting her on the arm. He had also verbally abused an official, kicked over a chair and smashed his racket.

The four-week ban starts from April 25 and Malisse will be able to play in the French Open, the second major championship of the season.

The 24-year-old denied the accusation in a post-match press conference in Key Biscayne at the time insisting, "I didn't say anything."

"We were in a discussion about a ball, and I looked at her and I said about the ball mark, and she misunderstood. . . . She misunderstood words that sound very similar.''

Tournament referee Alan Mills, who also acts at Wimbledon's referee refused to comment.

Nicola Arzani, the ATP director of Communications for Europe, confirmed the report on Tuesday, saying: "The Supervisor recommended a Major Offense investigation, which was undertaken by the ATP Administrator of Rules & Competition [Richard Ings], who ruled that it was a Major Offense."

"The case was appealed by the player to the Mark Miles, the chief executive officer, who ultimately determined that in addition to the points and prize money Malisse lost from Miami from the default, Malisse will be fined $6,000 and suspended from ATP tournaments for four weeks beginning the week of April 25, with an additional four weeks' suspension to be served if he avoids certain similar infractions during this calendar year.
