I was desperately looking for pictures on Houston, so I went to their website, but I think I still browse the web...
What I prefer on this site:
-The link to ATP.com for the results and the players' profiles
-The 9 big ads, with the furniture one in the center
-The Fed autograph to be won OR the raquet (cross the fingers for the raquet !)
-The fashion show link: at least there are pics on this tournie site !
-The big "Call... for tickets", we feel that MattressMac knows how to sell mattresses, for tennis tournaments it's another story
Live scores ? No way... ;)

Well actually the funny thing is my friend built that website. I told him that I thought he half assed it but he didn't care becuase he still got his all access pass.

I'm happy for him, I'm less happy for tennis fans around the world...
Who could help us to get rid of this guy ?

So, he did it on a trade rather than a regular commission? The site is much better than what they had for the Cup '03.

If he's open to it, please ask him to convince the tournament directors to invest in a little more UMPH! for the site like articles, pictures, and live scores. Fans should be able to buy tickets online as well. Tennis fans may volunteer to do everything for the site in exchange for tickets except the live scores technology. :)

I hope he didn't wear this shirt to any matches......he does... I think it's the only shirt he owns.

Anyway, the website does suck really bad, but there are other tourneys where it's just as bad...

You must be kidding, he wore it and others in the same crappy style in Masters Cup every time an American player played. You call him an organiser...

Yes, I can't explain how many ways that web site sucks. If you're not going to have the scores or the draws, don't tease us with the non-links!

This is the best part. Rog is too nice, I don't know how he agreed to be involved in this one... so mean to attract people to buy f***ing mattresses with Rogis' autograph...

To be fair, I think the version of the Houston homepage last year was even a bit worse and had a worse design. But in respect of content, no (big) changes.

I have a question, why the websites from Australia and USA tournaments are always so crappy? (there are some nice exceptions)
I mean they surely have enough resources to build a decent website but they don't do it. Even the website of Bogotá is way better than most of the websites from the countries mentioned above.

I don't think is matter of money, or am I wrong?
