I don't have any doubt that Johnny Mac could beat Serena easily, but whenever they do these men vs women matches those usually try to even it out by giving the women the doubles alley, the men only 1 serve, etc. Did they do anything like that here or do they figure their age difference is enough of a handicap?

However, I do question why are these men so insecure that they have to open their mouths. Yes, you are stronger, faster, ect...compared to the women so why do you feel the need to go on about it? Does saying this somehow make you feel like, "Mr. Big Stuff"? :lol:

Johnny Mac was asked about that on a sports talk show last year. Bob Costas asked John McEnroe if he would ever consider doing and he said he didn't like the idea, and that he could see the match doing more harm then good for the sport.

maybe if mac was over 65. Anyway this match probably wont happen and even if it did I doubt they would both play at 100%. Matches like this are usually "agreed" to be close.
I recall Borg and Sampras playing a exhibition in the early 90s, that Sampras barely won, yet shortly after that Borg returned to the pro tour and it was a bit of a disaster.
