Gonzo could beat him. I suppose Andreev could if he was really hot  Though since he never struggles with Verdasco, I'll take Nadal over Andreev.

^^now that I said that, watch him end up making the final and losing. To Verdasco ;)

Yup, he'll win. Go Rafi!!! :clap2: Ra-fi, Ra-fi, Ra-fi! :clap2:

he beat the master, so he better not lose. I'd be very happy if Rafa ends up winning it, for 2 reasons, because Rafa rocks, and so that i would know that JC lost to the eventual winner.

I said yes.
After having seen his two last matches, I'm so impressed.

i think so

ae wowww

Yes, he definitely should-if he doesn't, I'd put it down to exhaustion. Gonzo probably won't be able to beat him, I predict Nadal-Costa final, Nadal winning in straight sets.

Andreev will kick his butt:)

I think he won´t (he´s the best player there, of course, but I don´t know if his team want him to stay there till Sunday)

like deivid said which i got to agree - would not make any sense for rafa to expend too much given he has already played a load of recently and masters is around the corner where he will be one of the favourites

i suspect the only reason why he is playing this tournament in the first place is becuase it is in spain

he doesnt seem to be tired....and if he doesn lose today, he'll have to lose to navarro or in the final right?

Of course he can win it, although he'll be too tired in Monte Carlo, he's been playing a lot lately...

It's just that some funny people are voting now that Nadal is defeated ;)

 I did so the people who actually thought he'd win would look a bit better, but then I thought he was the favorite.

Some pointed out in the other thread that it may not have been a tank, but I still think it was, a little bit at least. Andreev can surely beat him, but Nadal's been having such a season that it's unlikely, I don't know if two or three days are enough rest for him to prepare well for Monte Carlo, but better than to prepare after Sunday.

I didn't see the match so I cannot judge whether that was a tank or not, but that would surprise me from Nadal.
He's definitely not the kind of players who don't play a match at 100% in order to relieve for a future tournament.
I just believe that Rafael was a little tired and that Igor played a great match :worship:
But I can be wrong ;)
