there should be a whole new forum just for these two!! :D
well this is just an article from seb's site that someone posted and its from L'equipe. It's soooooo sweeeeeeetttt.....
(It's the story you told me, Vale)

Guillaume Raoux

The sunday, at the time of the final in Melbourne, seb had just played a bad match against Hewitt and when they returned to the lockeroom (?) he had collapsed and had red eyes (awww....:( ). He sat down all alone in the corner, under a towel and very quickly the silence became heavy. Then Arnaud went up to him. He knew it was him that had to do it. The only one that could burst the bubble of sadness that surrounded Seb :) There, he took him by the shoulder and spoke to him for 5 minutes and no-one knows what he said to him, while doing so let us have our turn to speak to him. i remember Nico who said they needed us on the bench. With a year paased, this picture remains squarely lumiere, in the middle of all the others."

Oh, I really like Clement. He looks so sweet with his glasses. When I was in Rosmalen this year, and Clement was playing against Canas evrybody was supporting Canas. I didn't understand that, Clement is much nicer, much sweeter :D
By the way, a friend of me told me Clement did study maths once, is that truth?????

That's: Nico told Seb he needed him on the bench. :o
Thanks for the translation Esther. ;)

Legolas, as a teenager Arnaud did not go to the special tennis school at Roland-Garros like many of the other players.
Maybe he did not have the level yet or wasn't considering tennis as seriously as others, more like playing in his free time.
He stayed in his hometown and he was in a scientific section in high school, so with maths.
The day he learned he had passed his exams (baccalaureat) he went to his tennis club, where he had not been much lately due to revision work, and hit the ball happier than ever because he knew that if he was successful with his exams his parents would let him try full-time tennis for a year.
So he tried tennis and reached a higher level than most people would have ever imagined...

Tryphon- of course....lui = him :)
so...was escude being nice by doing that?

ohh my dear arnaud...don't you think he would be the last person to do a maths degree?? so he didn't do a Uni degree did he, but then if he just did high school why is a baccalaureat? so obedient to his parents :)

Baccalaureat is the diploma we get at the end of high school (if we pass the exams!).
There are different sections in high school, like maths and sciences, literature and languages, economy and history, and so on. The maths and sciences is considered the most difficult one!
All sections are still more or less studying a bit of everything in fact so not as specialised as uni but with some subjects more important than the others.

Sure Nico was being nice to Seb, trying to cheer him up, meaning he could not do without his support, that he was important for the team, not only as a player for as a supporter as well!
