the sun only affected one shot that i saw -- when he was 5-2 in the second.

the blisters he dealt with by ripping off the bandages himself and putting on 2 socks.

the topspin is not bothering him IMO -- it's Nadal's bludgeoning the ball. he is overwhelming Roger.

Mary having X-rated thoughts on Nadal? She keeps repeating how he's built like a Man not like a boy. Can you imagine if McActee kept repeating the Womanliness of Sharapova

She said Hewitt was so scrawny at Nadal's age that he "needed safety pins to hold up his shorts" :tape:

BTW, why do I keep thinking of Bill McActee at Bill Platapuss???

He just DFd again. He should be winning, he has twice the winners, but he is self-destructing. Everything into the net.

basically that was it. Pat and Cliff were like forcing him to say that Agassi was sooooooo great. and Roger let out this big sigh of frustration. it was funny. i thiink that on his own he would easily have complimented Agassi as an opponent. but really it was his moment and they should have had the decency to acknowledge his win instead of forcing him to praise the man he had just beat in 2 routine sets.

it seemed routine to me. yes there were some close rallies and Agassi hit some great shots. but if you factor out the crowd response, it was a routine match.
