Will Agassi play in his 40's ?

Having a look at this answer in a recent interview, you wonder if his new goal is not to play that long...

Three athletes anywhere you most respect?

``Wow. That's not an easy one. Alonzo Mourning has impressed me a lot through his foundation and what he cares about. His heart and commitment, pretty amazing. And seeing what people can do when they are 40 is pretty darned inspiring. Jerry Rice or Karl Malone. That hits the spot for me.''

He still play well, why should he stop??
I think when he won't be able to reach a 1/4 in a GS, he'll stop ....
I would say at 35 ... he'll stop
Let's see

Was Connors the last pro to play in his 40's in singles in GS ?

Yes syd I agree.

I don't know why people get obsessed with when one of the top 10 players, reaching QF, winning tournaments will retire? Why is age that important? Agassi, Moya, Henman are top ten players. As long as they feel fit to play and are maintaining a high competitive level I don't think their retirement should be an issue for discussion.

No, just after he said that in this interview. Clément will be beaten at any stage of Agassi's career, even in his 50's ! Mathieu on clay, not sure...

I'm sure Agass' will try to play as long as possible and will reach the 40's. Maybe he'll skip the FO to get some rest but he'll go on.
This year he's gonna play if God agrees, his 20th US Open in a row !!! :worship: :worship:

Lleyton wouldnt make it to 70......when he finally beats Roger again, he'll let out a "cmon" so vicious that it'll pop his head clean off

"2017 Wimbledon semi-finals
Roger Federer has reached for the 10th time the semi-finals in Wimbledon.
The 13th seed is not anymore the player he used to be, the "unbeatable", but he still has fire in him and he's getting ready to produce his best tennis to beat the world number 1, Donald Young, current Wimbledon champion. To be noticed: Andre Agassi, 47, didn't pass the first round sadly... " ;)
