It was such a good day for the Spaniards. :( Pink Panther 03-26-2005, 12:42 AM Looks like his shoulder is bothering him again. Hope he gets well soon.  lucashg 03-26-2005, 12:52 AM What? I can't believe it, after such a good win (12 games in a row)! Where did you see this? smucav 03-26-2005, 12:59 AM Shoulder injury: Novak advances to the 4th round having only played one match. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/tennis/03/25/roddick.quits.ap/index.htmlNo. 12 Tommy Robredo beat Jonas Bjorkman 6-4, 6-0 and then withdrew, citing shoulder inflammation that has bothered him for six months. No. 24 Jiri Novak eliminated Kevin Kim 6-1, 6-2 and advanced to the fourth round because of Robredo's withdrawal. Kristen 03-26-2005, 01:01 AM Nice work Jiri.... Wow. Jonas' loss looks even worse now  lucashg 03-26-2005, 01:03 AM Hm, then I hope he takes enough time to heal his shoulder. For an apparent bad injury, he came back to tour sooner than I expected. Let the shoulder fully recover now... Scotso 03-26-2005, 01:06 AM :crying2: Lee 03-26-2005, 01:28 AM Didn't he learn something from his fellow countryman, Juan Carlos? adeegee 03-26-2005, 01:33 AM I wish they'd let Bjorkman go through and play Novak. Not because I'm a Bjorkman fan, I just think it'd be better that way, rather than let Novak go straight to the 4th round Fergie 03-26-2005, 01:34 AM Poor Tommy :crying2: :crying2: :crying2: Billabong 03-26-2005, 01:35 AM  Get well soon Tommy:hug: jole 03-26-2005, 02:13 AM It was such an impressive display coming back from 0-4 down to win 6-4 6-0. Hope Tommy is ok. knight_ley 03-26-2005, 02:20 AM Tommy   adelaide 03-26-2005, 02:21 AM Aw Tommy... :*( please get well soon  Ferrero Forever 03-26-2005, 04:16 AM tommy:( this aint fair I♥PsY@Mus!c 03-26-2005, 05:13 AM Why the hell this injury is still bothering you again and again? :armed::armed::armed: First I'm damn glad you won 6-4 6-0, :woohoo: then saw this news. :sobbing: That kills me a lot. Hope Tommy takes a longer rest, see you maybe in next AMS. :tears: Action Jackson 03-26-2005, 05:26 AM Funny that Robredo has never come close to beating Novak in any of their matches, and this is the second time that Robredo has withdrawn from a scheduled match against Novak in a row. Action Jackson 03-26-2005, 05:27 AM Btw, I hope Robredo gets better as soon as possible. CooCooCachoo 03-26-2005, 05:52 AM Tommy :crying2: Injuries really ruin tennis  Especially for Tommy this year. It's been horrible. I am still glad he has been able to beat Björkman, but Jonas will be gutted now and rightfully so. Let's hope Tommy gets well really fast :D Choupi 03-26-2005, 05:54 AM I hope Tommy leaves the right time to his shoulder to recover properly. Get well soon. ~EMiLiTA~ 03-26-2005, 07:30 AM yeah...I'm kinda surprised at this news since he obviously beat Bjökman pretty convincingly...but I know his shoulder has never been right since the end of last year...and imo he came back far too early. He should never have gone to Dubai...don't know why he came rushing back for that tournament...he said after the AO he wasn't going to come back til his shoulder was 100% because it wasn't worth it...and since then he's admitted he went to Dubai not being 100%...this time hopefully he'll give himself more time to recuperate. Even if it means missing some bigger tournaments...in the end it will be more beneficial for him...because otherwise this same thing is just going to keep happening and he'll need an operation, which he might even need anyway... roisin 03-26-2005, 09:00 AM tommy.... :bigcry: why was he rushing back?? u cant rush back with shoulder injuries cos they're so hard to get rid of. i did ligaments in my shoulder about 18 months ago, and its still not right. Eruwen 03-26-2005, 09:32 AM :awww: Hope he'll be better soon! Smankyou 03-26-2005, 09:36 AM i did ligaments in my shoulder about 18 months ago, and its still not right. My brother never played basketball again. I would rather break a leg than tear a ligi. Hell, break both my legs. bad gambler 03-26-2005, 09:37 AM shit the poor guy can not catch a break - played so well in dubai as well hope he rests up and be ready for the clay season ~EMiLiTA~ 03-26-2005, 10:00 AM My brother never played basketball again. I would rather break a leg than tear a ligi. Hell, break both my legs. his is not so much to do with ligaments, but rather it's a malformation of the bone that causes inflamation...still sounds icky to me... jazz_girl 03-26-2005, 10:15 AM I hope he gets well soon  roisin 03-26-2005, 10:15 AM My brother never played basketball again. I would rather break a leg than tear a ligi. Hell, break both my legs. i haven't played football or golf since  his is not so much to do with ligaments, but rather it's a malformation of the bone that causes inflamation...still sounds icky to me... eghhh!!!! that really does sound horrific. poor tommy  Alvarillo 03-26-2005, 10:53 AM poor Tommy  he was playing great tennis since he came back i wish you the best! suerte! Jogg 03-26-2005, 11:34 AM get well soon Tommy mario22 03-26-2005, 12:36 PM yeahh, Go tommy!! he has a shoulder injury, right?? sigmagirl91 03-26-2005, 01:01 PM I wish they'd let Bjorkman go through and play Novak. Not because I'm a Bjorkman fan, I just think it'd be better that way, rather than let Novak go straight to the 4th round Had Robredo withdrawn from that match, yes. Since Bjorkman lost that match, no, it won't be done. ~EMiLiTA~ 03-26-2005, 01:21 PM yeah...I mean he lost 0-6 to a guy who had a bung shoulder...he obviously doesn't deserve to be in the 3rd round does he? he had his chance to win the match, couldn't deliver so that's it...yes it seems unfair that Tommy pulled out just after winning, but he's allowed to do that, so there's nothing Jonas can do... CocoT_Do 03-29-2005, 02:14 PM Yes poor Tommy I hope he could come back soon in good health   Is someone has news about him ?? ~EMiLiTA~ 03-29-2005, 02:21 PM he went to the doctors yesterday...
