He got his 3rd bagel in a row :rolls: :rolls: :rolls: :rolls: :rolls:

After losing 6-0 6-0 to Kiwi in Indian Wells, he just got another bagel gift from Benneteau :o :cuckoo: :o

Poor him

Now we already have the Bagel Couple :couple:

:worship: Sargis Sargsian & Arantxa Parra :worship:

Awarded with the Bagel Trophy in 2005

Let's wait till the end of the season to see which one will get more. Tough battle, but make your bets! :bounce:

Not bad, not bad indeed - 19 games lost in a row is a terrific accomplishment, and one which I doubt was matched by Thierry Champion, the last player to receive three successive bagels when he was thrashed 0, 0 and 0 by Bruguera at RG in 1993. His next match was in Genoa on clay, and he lost in the first round to Lars Jonsson of Sweden, 6-3, 5-7, 3-6; it's safe to assume the first game of the match was a service hold from him, making it a mere 18 straight games lost. Congrats Sarge!

anyone know who holds the record for most bagels received on the pro tour?
and who holds the record for most bagels dished out? (hewitt?)

I once started a thread about who had received the most bagels in recent years - I thought it was Gaudio, who's been bagelled well over a dozen times in his career, but I was probably wrong.

did anyone come up with names that seemed plausible? i know roger's done some bagelling last year, but i wonder if pete or someone of that generation might hold the record
i will search out your bagel thread

I had a thread a couple of weeks ago.....

Since 2000, Coria has dished out more bagels than any other player (A lot in 2003 on clay). Followed by Roger and Lleyton.

I'm not sure about receiving the most bagels though.

I always feel sorry for anyone who loses 0-6, 0-6. Sargsian will get out of this bad period soon.

Sargis doesn't deserve this  Kiefer was red hot in Indian Wells though.. But a bagel by Benneteau is not very good.

Me too.. I also feel really sorry for Arantxa Parra Santonja. Getting double bagelled this year by Likhovtseva and Smashnova, who both haven't had a great year either, is just crappy :( Her shape has been so horrible. She did beat Anna Tatishvili, but that girl is so young and STILL handed Arantxa a bagel.

She was better without the Santonja

I dot like bagel guy, I prefer bagel boy, bagel dude
