To continue with the current trend of music threads ;) I thought you might like to take a trip down musical memory lane and choose your favorite songs of each decade. Take your time, I know these decisions aren't easy.

That's exactly what I meant, from 2000 on. Thanks TH. :) I just wanted to keep it simple. "Top 10 songs since 2000" just didn't sound like anything at all. ;) I didn't mean to start a debate on when the millenium started. :p

Great list Hitman! :D Who's Chad Kroeger by the way? (I know the other songs but not this one).

Chad Kroeger is the lead singer from Nickelback. That song is in the Spiderman Soundtrack. Another very good one for you to look for on Kazaa. ;)

I tried to come up with a list for these whole three years, but I just couldnt. I would probably add U2´s Elevation, and throw one or two Silverchairs, Last Night from the Strokes (maybe, a big maybe) and Clapton´s Reptile song Got you on my mind. I guess it would look like

U2 - Elevation
Eric Clapton - Got you on my mind
Silverchair - Anthem for the year 2000 (what the heck its from the 20th, but it talks about the 21st. :p)
Silverchair - Anna´s song (its also from 1999)

See, I cant finish. :p

Oh, oh, oh, if Incubus´ Drive is from the 21st, it would be in for sure.

And Staind´s It´s been a while as well. :D

Mm, I love those haunting songs about horrible things.

No, seriously.

Just to throw up some songs, in no particular order . . .

U2 -- Beautiful Day
Red Hot Chili Peppers -- Around the World
moby -- South Side (original cut)

I'm so bad at this :o I haven't heard new music, or decent music, in a long time :o:o

Nope, I quite enjoy clever songs about serious issues. Ana's Song is about the lead singer's battle with anorexia.

I'm also a fan of Janie's Got a Gun by Aerosmith, about sexual abuse. It's really amazing what music can convey sometimes
