If I was voting on who should win based on talent then I would have to say Federer, if I was voting on a person who should win based on effect in the game then I think Nadal, he is one of the best examples of fresh raw talent in the game of tennis and based on his performances I think that he should win at Roland Garros this year.

Oh, definetly Mardy Fish.

Ok, seriously, I really don't know. I'd love to see Rafa win it.

Due to what we have just seen in Monte Carlo and Rome I bet on Rafa Nadal.

I hope it will be Guille Coria, he deserves to win!!! :)
But I think that Nadal will do good results...
I'd like to see a final between them like at Rome and Monte Carlo but not with the same winner...
we will see...

Greg Reusidski

He seems to have gained his swagger after winning his first match on clay in nearly 2-3 years

No i'm quite serious. I hear the conditions are going to be brutully wet which will definetely favor Reusedski's all court game.

I'll bet on David Nalbandian, although he was eliminated in 1st round of Roma and Hamburg.

He has a chance, but I truly dont think he was so domineering this year as the other specialists did, but who knows, he might surprise us like last year.

Of course I want NICO to win. :-)

But realistically I think it will be RAFA. And I think Rafa winning it will be great for tennis. Will bring in a lot of new fans - and a lot of new younger fans.

And JC, Guille, Gaston - all have very real shots too if for some reason Rafa can't do it.

Never can count out Roger - although the clay in Hamburg is so different than the French can't really go by that result.

And I have to add - wish that Guga was in top form again...I miss that guy so much being at the top. Such a great player, such a great person. Was really wonderful to watch when he won the French again and again. (And glad he grew the curls back...lol!...missed those to!).

I would like to see Coria win, he's been through such a frustrating period lately, being so close but never making it. Nadal, of course, has all the hype and momentum surrounding him which is exactly why I don't think it will be him.

But I really hope it's someone no one is expecting. If there are enough surprises to keep it suspenseful, I'll be happy. :)

Coria or Gaudio (why not another final with them')
and I also predict the quarters:
Gonzalez vs Nalbandian
Monaco/Gasquet vs Gaudio
Coria vs Ferrero/Robredo
Cañas vs Puerta

too optimistic? .... yes, but... why not? :bounce:
