It explains why PMac begged Agassi to rejoin the Davis Cup team and why Taylor Dent is the alternate in Carson rather than Fish.

I would say Niemeyer has a better serve but Frank is young and all these great matches on the tour are only going to make him better.

Dupuis is going to win first set 7/5...again...of course...Devil Spadea wants to repeet the score with great accuracy. The frenchman is unlikely to agree

Fee
02-17-2005, 07:33 PM
Hey Fee, did your man come back to his double handed forehand or still going on with one??

Yes, back to his two hander, but he uses his one hander somewhat frequently in matches that I saw. That one hander lasted about one match. He can't get enough power with it and now that he seems to be getting his legs and feet back, he may be able to set up his two hander the majority of the time (it can be pretty wicked when it's on, but I still prefer his backhand).

Sorry for the late reply, I was out for a while...

Not sure, I guess it's an injury. It does remind me of Cincinatti last year, Spadea vs. Arazi, Arazi up a break in the third serving for the match, and Spadea throws in the towel literally. He wasn't even hurt.

Wow, I'm a bit suprised. G&G are really playing doubles, they're not playing like two singles players who happen to be standing next to each other. I rarely get to see any doubles except the Bryans.

Fee, is this an area that JM and Robbie have been concentrating on?

JMG's always been a bit of a doubles whore ( ), he plays as much as he can to help his singles and it really did save him last week in San Jose after he lost that horrid singles match. Robby needs to play more doubles to help his singles game, but I think he lacked confidence in doubles. JMG really seemed to pump him up in their first match and it worked. I think they like to play together and hope they do it again after this tournament (Robby is not going to Scottsdale). Robby needs to work on court positioning, he has a tendency to drift too close to JMG sometimes and leave the court open, but his returns are solid and his reflexes are good, so they have potential. And I sure like to see them playing together... (woof).
