I noticed a couple of other people have done it, so I thought why not, I have a lot of photos and want to share them with you guys... or at least do something with them!
I will put my 05 RG Photos up in here, currently I will put up: 2003 Wimbledon, 2004 Surbiton, Queens, Nottingham, Club Med Cup, Wimbledon, Bolton & Manchester. If you want bigger versions, just set me an email and I'll be happy to send you them :yeah:

Most of my best Surbiton photos are of JMG & Jim, but I will not post them, as I have given Fee sole rights to the JMG pics! and "no-one gives a crap about doubles", respectively.

Thanks to everyone for kind words...

In reply to th'above, I use a SLR Camera - Canon EOS300V after 2 friends recommended it to me. Thats like a 80-128mm lens or something, which came with it, but I've bought a bigger one recently on eBay.
You should get an SLR cam, not digital - because the shutter speed of a digital camera is much slower, so it can be blurry :yeah:
I will do CMC photos later.

You wanna know what motherf*cking vision is?! Spotting Andrew Finkelstein in real life for the first time from the gallery at the Royal Albert Hall, and taking a photo of him, and his wife.
This guy paid like £10,000 to hit/play a set against Sampras at the USO one year, and paid a similar amount to play Henman indoors at Wimbledon. I bet my mate that he would place a bid on the chance to play Henman again, and he did not fail to please. Oh no, he bid more than once-but me and my mate rinsed him, because his wife was like  what are you doing?!... I'm not going back on the game, and we're not re-mortgaging the house! So he stopped, and someone else got it. Anyway, thats what vision is. I went off on one there a bit hey.. Back to these glorious pics:

Leander Paes practicing on Court 18 with David Rikl of Czech Rep. I got Leander's autograph afterwards, and as this was only my 2nd time at a tennis tournament, I assumed Rikl was a practice partner... He must've thought I was a proper pr*ck when I walked off afterwards! The only other autograph I got at this championships (only went on the second Tuesday) was David Felgate. And the only autograph I got the year before that was Rolf Harris, outside the venue itself.

Great photos Andrew, thanks! :D What camera do you use?

btw, can anyone recommend a really good digital camera to use for taking photos at sporting events? My camera sucks and I need an upgrade.
Well tangy, depends on your budget really and what you want from your camera? do you want a point and shoot camera or a dslr?
DSLR will be so much better for sports photography, hardly any shutter lag and very fast shutter speeds, gives you the option of adjusting more settings and getting better results from your camera. Although be prepared to spend about 1000$ for an entry dslr (then you have to buy the lens, which can be just as expensive as the camera).
AS andy said point and shoots are too slow if you want good results for sport, the shutter lag is very slow (where as with dslrs you push the shutter button and its immediate). Also the shutter speeds are very slow, and you cant really good results in bad lighting from a point and shoot. You are going to want at least 200-400mm of zoom really, so about an 8x-12x point and shoot will do.
Also dont be fooled by megapixels, there are 4mp dslr cameras that could crap all over 8mp cams in image quality (lots of pros even use the 4mp dslrs, such as 1d, d2h etc). Its only really needed if you want to crop your images.

so it boils down to what you are willing to spend? how willing you are to learn and what you want ;)

Jose Acasuso, in case you can't tell behind the arm :D

That's it, almost. I have sent off some others-like half a film's worth. Anyway, I hope that is of some interest: I tried not to take the ones you can find anywhere e.g. Nadal on Chatrier. Just something a bit different, although obviously they're not great, I just enjoy it. I also have some WTA photos, but decided against posting them on here for obvious reason. Plus they're probably illegal :p!

The big lens had to come out for this, the court was so far away! I couldn't go right up to it, because one of the security guards got some vendetta against me, and told me the specific pass I had didn't allow it. So the next day, Jim fixed me one which was certainly allowed there Showed that French wAnker!

Ok, Canon Rebel is also a high quality camera..

I have an Olympus myself and it goes something like 2,000x quality.

It just seems funny from the way they're posted on the forum.

Then again, you could probably post them as a seperate image from an .html and the user would be allowed to zoom in after hovering.

Just a perspective thing..

Nothing against the pics themself, great angles and color :yeah:

Thanks man... I think it's because I put them on snapfish-which resizes them and all... They're pretty big files.. But like I said originally, if people want specific pictures, I am happy to send them.
