As many of you probably know Cyril Saulnier of France will be playing tomorrow in the final of San Jose. Contrary to the popular belief, not everyones best tennis has to be in their early 20's. The man from France is now 29 and playing the best tennis of his career. Granted he was a late bloomer, it is refreshing to see him doing what he is doing. He plays a very classic game centered around consistent, solid groundstrokes, and making his way in on short balls. He plays similar to Hyung-Taik Lee if that helps you imagine his game.

Not bad... I didn't like him winning the match against Melzer, but during the last months his game seems to be a notch above than it recently used to be! He had a few good results during US hardcourt season...

Hope you don't play the final like you played the Aus 1st round - that was horrendous.

yeah i've been impressed with him recently...don't think he's got too much of a shot at beating roddick tonight unless andy has an off day, but good on him for making the final

Anyone remembers Cyril?
He's currently a coach of a tennis team in Egypt and today he decided to play in the league with the club he's coaching.
He lost to Sherif Sabry 36 61 64
Was doing fine, but his fitness didn't help. He's 36 years old :)

Saulnier was quite a talented little player. Good touch and feel.
