I said somethjing abnout him in other thread...
tha first set was incredible if only he would kept playing like that we wouldn't be seeing Gaudio now...
And also the personlity he showed off, he only missed fixzing himself a Campari on his time off!!!! (that's Marcelo's Gatman comment by the way)...

He had fun playing yesterday and it showed it , so he made all of us, ones at court and ones at home, to enjoy more the game... really nice of him... hopefully we'll see him more often... :worship:

The captain of Italian Tennis Team of Davis Cup said to me that in Italy there are no players like for example Monfils or champions like that.

I answer that there are, the most fantasy tennis in Italy is of Federico Luzzi !

For me it's not a surprise, but I'm Italian and I've watched a lot of tennis of the tennis player from Arezzo City.

Here you can have some photos from my web site taken in Milano 3-Basiglio Challenger last December.

Here there is a photo from it :

Luzzi is like 200 in the world which is a shame because of injuries but recently he is back to form. he has qualified for the last 4 main ATP tournaments so it is only time before he is near the top 100 again if he continues his form.

Italy have a half decent davis cup team realistically. We can chose Volandri, Starace, Seppi and Luzzi or also Bertolini for the doubles. Hopefully he will be at the French Open this year. Also good signs for other Italian tennis players is that our 17 year old young star Fabio Fognini won a futures torneo in Spain last week :)

That might be the Champions Race. Coz as I said, hes qualified in 4 main ATP tournament events and got to the 2nd round of two of them.

The Entry ranking he is more like 200 in the world, but rising, as he keeps on qualifying for tournaments. Unfortunately he will probably be injured in a month or so
