Great Lars :banghead:
Hi, I was surprised because of the choice of Lars Burgsmuller about playing in Buenos Aires on clay.
Do you know the reason ?
It was better to go to play indoor in Europe, for example.
For me it's better, because Filippo Volandri will not have an hard match against a player that doesn't play often on clay.
Filippo can win this match against Lars, but indoor it was exactly the contrary.

Maybe because of the money ? Or where Argentina play next time in Davis Cup ? In which surface ?

Why don't these top players go to San Jose and warmup for the spring hardcourt reason...
Oh, that's right...

It’s likely to be schedule arrangement….. He’s in Brazil the week after then over to Scottsdale etc.
One thing I do know, or that I’m not confident of is, Lars will not beat Volandri on clay. Lars just doesn’t have the experience in my opinion. Last year Volandri more than doubled the amount of clay tournaments in which Lars played. As you said the tables might very well be turned if this was on hard court.

He said: "it would be very dangerous to play. And to avoid a greater injury, I prefer to stop this week" (so I agree that probably he is just exhausted)

He has signed a commitment to play in Marseilles by 5 years. This year the Open of Marseille changed of date, superposing itself with the ATP of Buenos Aires

no idea but have you check the official website??
http://www.atpbuenosaires.com/
About the tickets, sunday i checked at the box offices and there's no more "abonos de platea" only generals (as the cheepest)... check the Musimundos you'll find tickets... i'll buy my weekday matches (if i wanna go to one of them after 19 hs) at the stadium when i arrive so i'm hoping they have prevented the fact taht many pplwork and still runs like hell to get there and watch some quality tennis...

Hi
This is what Ive heard. Seems ATP Buenos Aires was going to start next week, not this one, but then the dates were changes, Guillermos had a contract with Marseille so he could not change it.
He and Davis were ( are) on the spotlight here... mean , why the 2 most important players of our country do not play at home. The justify a bit more David, for the surface,
I really have to believe Guille had a contract cos It was such a big honor to him to win this title.
