Next up, is Roland Garros... but who will do well here? I am inclined to feel neither Roddick or Hewitt will do as well as they did at AO because of the pace of the clay in Paris, but I think Safin should do well-what about Roger?
Any conclusion about what will happen in May/June?

I still think Spaniards or latinos would do better in French.Maybe Rogi could get his first French Open this year. But It's really hard to tell in the beginning of the year.Let's wait to see.(Still a long time to wait.French Open is my fava Grand Slam)

Roddick shocks the world, and all of MTF cries, as he holds up the trophy.

Agassi-could do okay, not overpowered because of slow pace.
Nadal-what a result that'd be to do well, very likely/possible.
Massu/Gonzalez-good results lately esp Gonzo
Fererro-don't think so.. despite being far off, can't see it happening
Gaudio-don't think he could pull it off again
Coria-hope not :tape:
Jim Thomas-win doubles :yeah:

I would love it if Rafa won, but I'm not sure he is quite ready for that.

Gaudio to repeat :) Beat Ferrero in final.
Safin and Coria to make semis.
Nalbandian, Hewitt, Fed and Henman other Quarterfinalists.

My prediction is someone from Spain or Argentina wins it.

Ferrero, Coria or Gaudio, for some reason i don't see Henman making the semis here again.

I think Marat could well win his 3rd Grand Slam title here - he loves Roland Garros and they love him too :) Otherwise, - David, Gaston Gaudio and (hopefully) Juan-Carlos to reach the semis.

You will be lucky to find one player whose mother-tongue language is not Spanish or Portuguese reaching the last 8- in other words, just another routine French Open.

Roger Federer!!
After his fantastic year 2004, I wondered what might make him give it a real go at the French and I developed the idea, that he might win the French if he did not win in Australia. The way things developed down under reinforced my thinking.

I hope ROGER could win the Roland Garos and the wimblendon this year, that would be fantanstic to see him get these trophies!

There is more chance of andy getting probed by aliens!

I feel nalbandian, coria, gaudio and safin will be some of the main contenders. Ferrero is still in bad shape, and i dont know how long it will take him to get back into form for competing in winning slams. Federer will probably do better than last year, but i cant see him competing for the title.

Nadal x Coria
Safin x Nalbandian

Coria, Federer, Kuerten if he is fit, Safin, Nalbandian in descending order. Nadal may have a chance too. Don't think Roddick can do it this year.
