Sweet4Richard
08-30-2006, 03:52 AM
To be honest, I've been to busy to look (school, the US Open)

From what I can see, neither do I. he probably needs a break-he's been in a lot of final in singles and doubles.

Scotso

I was like "Lukas".. What tennis player? Lacko? :p But now I realize it's not about tennis.

I saw Lukas Lacko this year at the challenger and OMG, I love his name. I could not stop saying it over and over.

Oh, and he had a really pale stomach--he needs to work on that. :)

Scotso
09-05-2006, 10:11 PM
But is it a yummy tummy?

Sweet4Richard
09-06-2006, 03:31 AM

I do agree, but a double bagel is harsh!

Poor Francesco

Scotso
09-11-2006, 11:10 PM
I never have a problem with double bagels... as long as my favorites are the ones at the winning end. ;)

Sweet4Richard
09-12-2006, 12:55 AM
Ew. School should never interfere with fun. That's not cool.

I know, I know, but I just started college so I have to make a good first impression. ;)

Scotso

Sweet4Richard
09-15-2006, 02:50 AM

Eddie is playing in the Banja-Luka challenger this week.

In the first round, he faces the number five seed Frederico Luzzi.
http://www.atptennis.com/en/common/TrackIt.asp?file=http://www.atptennis.com/1/posting/2006/1607/x.pdf

Allez Edouard

Scotso

I hate Luzzi so much. He's such an ass. If I saw him pull his shit against Eddie I would punch him.

Allez Eddie! Kill him!

Sweet4Richard
09-19-2006, 03:31 AM
I saw Luzzi at the qualies this year and he's so friggen obnoxious. He was actaully quite entertaining, but still obnoxious.

Come on Eddie :)

Scotso
09-19-2006, 06:15 AM
Yes, he is. You should have seen him when I did. He yelled at everyone, the umpire, the cameraman, his opponent, the audience.

Sweet4Richard
09-19-2006, 03:51 PM
Oh man, that's horrible. What was he saying to the audience?

After he won his first round match at the qualies, he went down on one knee and pretended to play the violin. :smash:

Sweet4Richard
09-20-2006, 03:26 AM
Eddy lost 6-4, 6-0

Scotso

After he won his first round match at the qualies, he went down on one knee and pretended to play the violin. :smash:

He told the audience to shut up, because they were gasping when he told the cameraman he was going to hit him with his racquet. :retard:

 OMG !

Scotso
09-21-2006, 05:44 AM
<----

Yeah, I can't believe he wasn't defaulted. I really wish he had been for many reasons!

Do you know who he was playing when I saw him? ;) I'll give you a hint, you might find the player's name somewhere near the arrow above :D

Sweet4Richard
09-21-2006, 04:45 PM
I might be going out on a limb on this one, but I have to say.........Matej Bocko.

Just a wild guess.

Luzzi, at least got some kind of wanring for his behavior, right? At his 2nd round qualies match against Bastl he was injured and he wasn't playing well at all. During one point he shouts out in Italian "mother f*cker" which I understand since my family is Italian and I hear that a lot. I ended up laughing and then the umpire (Sandra de Jenkins) gave him a warning. There was a long delay between when he said it and when he got the warning.

Scotso
09-22-2006, 05:11 AM
Yes, it was Matej :D I was amazed at how completely calm he remained the entire time, which is partly why I like him so much.

He got a warning, yes, but he should have been defaulted. He was behaving like a spoiled 3 year old.

Cindy19
09-23-2006, 03:30 AM

Why would he? Wouldn't want to cramp his style by carrying a racquet or anything. :tape:

Sweet4Richard

OMG :haha: Funny ;)

I had Gero Kretschmer's coach almost show me what he was packing, but that was purely accidental ;) I sure as heck didn't ask for it :o But he was pulling down his shorts and well it was enough to see he shaved the complete area there :tape:

Well, he had a hot body. He was built more like an athlete than Kretschmer ;) But I preferred Gero's body (not the face) They both played shirtless and I felt like a perv as there was no one else watching but me and Carlita.

But the shaved part really threw me off  I don't like that at all.

Just got my photos from WTA Luxembourg back and they are absolutely horrible. Something went wrong with the settings of my camera, I think, or the lighting was just so bad or a combination. Most of them are rather artsy, but not good tennis photos at all.

But on the plus side, one of them still had photos from Amersfoort on them and my photo of Chardy is absolutely delicious  Will post it later! And the one of Naso is cute too ;)

Hmm, you would withdraw too.

It's the end of the year. They have to play this tournament (they wouldn't have entered otherwise), but don't want to. Thus, they withdraw.

Can't blame them. Blame the ATP.

They could play. It's like my job... my job sucks. I never -want- to go, but I have to do it. Can I call them and tell them I'm not going to come this week? No, I'd get fired.

The tennis players have great jobs and make tons of money. They only have a few commitments and need to keep them. :p

The analogy between this job and a 'normal' job is completely faulty.

If you were making enough money to afford skipping one week of work and are on a freelance contract, you would skip work for a week too. I agree that players have to stick to the commitments they make, but this is not commitments made by them, but made for them. If your mother always tells you to do something, even though she doesn't give you many commitments, do you always follow up what she does? Probably not.

I agree that mentality can be an issue, especially concerning American players and the Monte Carlo event, for instance, or Spaniards and Argentines regarding Wimbledon. But at the end of year, you want a breather, whether you are obliged to play or not.

Scotso
11-01-2006, 12:32 AM
The tour supports them... without the tour, they wouldn't have the capacity to make such money playing a game. So if, in return, they have to commit to a few events a year... well, I think they can handle that.

Well, they don't see the need to and frankly, I don't either. The ATP Tour is just out there to make money and does not care about the players' health or preferences whatsoever.

And I wouldn't say so loudly that they couldn't make such money without the ATP Tour. We see in darts, for instance, that another league arose next to the original one and both are financially sound, as far as I know. Not that I follow darts :ignore:

The point is that these people make millions upon millions to play a game and still act like they shouldn't have to do much of anything... and that annoys me. :p

Jealous much ;)

 Trust me, I do understand what you are saying, and in some cases you are more than right, but the ATP is only exacerbating things with its system and schedule.

Of the money they earn? Or of the fact that they get to see each other (half-)naked in the locker rooms :hehehe: ;)

Well, the money would be nice but I don't really have expensive tastes so I don't care that much about TONS of money.

I think that it would just be really nice to be able to travel the world doing something you really love (playing a game!). I bet they have so many wonderful experiences.

But you're right, seeing the other guys naked in the locker room would probably be the best part. ;)

Also, if you're like a Roger Federer or a Rafael Nadal... think of all the hot gay fans you would have... who would be thrilled to go with you to your hotel :aplot: ;)

I think you don't have to be a Nadal to get that :tape:

Nole and Ancic were very popular in Rosmalen this year ;) With the girls, of course. It would be so funny to see a gay groupie at an ATP event :haha:

When I saw him, I thought what a baby boy. Now I still think that. He's not attractive
