Have you run away from home after a fight or something? How long did you wait until you returned home again?

I used to threaten my Mom that I would run away and she would say; "Bye......there's the door."

As if she really didn't care. I never did.

When I was little, I put stuffed animals and crackers in a bag and hung out behind a tree for a while.

And then my parents told me that there were snakes back there, so I never tried it again.

When my sister and I were 6/7? a guess--we left home.. We took with us (supplies): 2 cartons of orange juice & a large orange blanket. We crossed over the road, into some woodland near our house, and made a makeshift tent. Couple of hours later--home bound.
:yeah:

Me and my neighbour ran away when we were like 7. We went and sat in the park for an hour and then we ran out of vegimite sandwhiches so we went home.

i've ran away twice. last summer i ran away. i did it at a bad time: at a family reunion in a resort. i was on anti-depressants during that period. it only lasted for about 3 hours. now it's a huge regret. i also ran away when i was around 8. my mom kicked me out of the house at night. so i ran to my aunt's house (who lives like 3 blocks away)and spent the night...

I ran away when I was 3 - I was in a strop but I more or less wandered away from my aunties house and got lost - I don't think I deliberatly disapeared for an hour and a half.

Then when I was 14 me and 3 of my friends ran away. We put up a tent in the middle of a field - the police found us a few hours later.

Yeah and it led to one of my most embarassing moments with my parents.

I ran away and went to our old club in the woods down by the river. I was actually so tired that I feel asleep and when I woke up the next morning, it was with my parents standing there (they had called a friend and he told them where I was probably at) and I had fallen asleep with all the playboy's and hustler magazines still out and a sack of joints, which my mother had all gathered them up and I had to spend the next hour explaining to her that the magazines and weed were the club's, not mine and refused to leave until she let me put them back in the storage rock.

I probably would have gotten a proper ass beating from some of the older guys if she had refused to put them back, so what should have been my parents looking to make amends to me, I had to end up pleading for them to not take all our stuff.

I ran away when I was 17...I lived in New Mexico and had a friend in Texas. When I got to Texas, they knew where I was and sent the police over. They let me call my mom and she let me stay. Bout 6 months later I went home for a visit and my mom and I were okay. :) And I still live in texas ;)

No... but maybe I should have. Perhaps then at least my issues with my maternal "parent" would be in the open  Ah well. she lives far away now :yeah:
